ipsy Review - March 2018
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy bags have a ton of variation, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.

The March 2018 ipsy theme is “Create,” and my Glam Bag included the following items:

~The Bag: This bag is amazing!  It’s ipsy’s first ever DIY bag and includes two markers so you can color it yourself! I can’t wait to do mine!

~EYEKO Lash Alert Mascara in Carbon Black (2mL) ($6.28): I have mentioned it before, but I have eyelash extensions, so I can’t test this out.  It’s infused with caffeine which perks up your lashes with crazy volume and curls. The brush is curved, which some people love but I actually find it harder to apply?

~HERMINERALS Blending Sponge ($12): This is worth the cost of the bag alone!  It works to apply mineral makeup, liquid foundations, bronzers, and beyond.  I use a beauty sponge daily to apply under eye concealer, so I’m thrilled to get a fresh one.

~STEVE LAURANT BEAUTY Lip Oil in Orchid (3.2g) ($18): Love this!  It’s a perfect clear gloss!  It’s not sticky, and I found it to be very hydrating.  I suspect I will be purchasing more of this when my tube run out/.

~LABOTICA Transforming Liquid Foil Mask (20mL) ($6.40): This mask brightens and firms up your skin, cleanses your pores, and gently removes dead skin cells.  All things I look for in a mask!  It didn’t make me break out, wasn’t irritating and I did think my pores felt tighter.

~TWILA TRUE BEAUTY True Renewal Oil (7mL) ($11.35): This oil can be used as a make-up primer, face moisturizer or nourishing treatment for all over (think hair, face, body, and nails).  I have been using it as a cuticle oil and to smooth flyaways. I doubt I would buy a full-size of this for that purpose because of the price, but this sample is great for my purse!

All totaled my March 2018 ipsy had a value of $54.03.  Wow!  That’s over 5x the cost of the bag, which is an excellent value!  I loved my ipsy this month!
