Stitch Fix Review #2 - March 2018
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!  Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

Note: They are also offering Select subscribers a $49 Style Pass. It’s by invitation only and allows you to get as many Fixes as you want for a year for only an initial fee of $49. That $49 will then be applied to your first purchase. I received a Style Pass invitation and now have my Fixes set to arrive every three weeks, because why not??

My Stitch Fix shipped via FedEx and took just a few days to arrive.

If you can’t wait to see what’s in your FIX, you can go into your account after your box ships to check what you are getting that month. I always do!

I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot. I started a Pinterest Board which I think will helo even more!

My March 2018 Stitch Fix (Fix #56) included the following items:

~Napean  Sea Rd. Jeney Cold Shoulder Top ($54): I love this color for Spring, but I am not in love with the cold shoulder style.  It’s just not me.  I found this to be true-to-size and well constructed.  It had a liner which I wasn’t expecting but was thrilled to find. Verdict: Returned.

~Just Black Nysa Skinny Jean ($78): I think white jeans are incredibly hard to get right.  Unfortunately, these don’t do it for me.  They are loose in the waist, perfect in the thighs and then loose again thru the knee/ankle.  I am sending these back because of the fit, but I am now on a hunt for the perfect-for-me white jeans!  Any brand recommendations?  I am hoping to stay < $50! Verdict: Returned.

~Goldray Paramont Convertible Halter Knit Top ($58): The note from my stylist indicated that she selected this for me because I had said I liked it, but I have no recollection of that. It was fun to try, but this is another miss for me.  I tried the halter both ways, but neither looked right on me.  I didn’t love the seam down the front, and it was just too tight. Verdict: Returned.

~41 Hawthorn Shaine Ruffle Detail Silk Blouse ($78): I like everything about this top except for the price and the fact that it’s pretty sheer.  It’s true-to-size, has gorgeous details and I love the pattern.  But I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing it without a cami under and for $78 I feel like I could find something I love more. Verdict: Returned.

~Market & Spruce Raina Embroidery Detail Blouse ($64): I saw this in the box and thought “no way.”  But I love it!  It’d be perfect with white jeans (just not the ones in this box), and I love the details! This color is amazing, and it was so comfortable!  Verdict: Kept (I Think)

Item Details (I know people like to pin these)

All of these pieces were so close and did fit what I asked for in my Fix.  I am going to keep with the Date Night theme and am keeping my fingers crossed that next month is a 5/5 Fix!
