Stitch Fix Review - March 2018
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!  Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

Stitch Fix

My Stitch Fix shipped via FedEx and took just a few days to arrive this month.

If you can’t wait to see what’s in your FIX, you can go into your account after your box ships to check what you are getting that month. I always do!

I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot. I am going to work on my Pinterest Board so my fixes will be even more customized.

My March 2018 Stitch Fix (Fix #55) included the following items:

~Lila Ryan – Liza Skinny Jean ($98): Ohh, I love these!  They are stretchy and super comfortable! They are a lighter wash than I would normally select, but I think that’s why I like them.  I’m debating sending them back for a smaller size because I do think they will stretch a ton during the day as I wear them.  They fit perfectly now, but all that stretch worries me.  I’m 5’4, and they are a perfect length – something that’s not always true with jeans for me.  Verdict: Keep (I think).

~Mo-Ka Ebele Faux Leather Jacket ($78): My feelings are mixed on this jacket.  I love the style (it has stretchy fabric on the size, so it’s fitted, but still comfortable), but it doesn’t fit me correctly.  The sleeves are super long, but I think if I sized down it would be too small in the body.  I don’t think I love it quite enough to go through the hassle (it’s actually not that hard) of exchanging it though. Verdict: Returned.

~Lavender Brown Belle Tie Sleeve Blouse ($178): Ugh.  I love this shirt.  I hated it when I opened the box, but the more I look at it, the more I love it.  It’s 84% Rayon, 16% Silk and I just feel like it’s so comfortable and flattering. I also love the floral print. Sadly though, it’s $178.  That’s just too expensive for a top I know I would only reach for a few times. Verdict: Returned (Sadly).

~French Grey Tula Brushed Knit Dress ($48): I wasn’t even going to try this on, but figured why not?  I like the color/print, but I am not sure about the style.  It requires a strapless bra and, well, I really hate strapless bras.  However, the price point on this one is perfect, and I could see how having this dress in my closet may come in handy. Verdict: Kept (Maybe)

~41 Hawthorn Meera Split Neck Top ($54): I love the cut/style of this top, but the leopard is just too wild for me.  It’s roomy and doesn’t show any cleavage which I like, and I love it with jeans.  Had this been in any other print I would have kept it. Verdict: Returned.

I thought my Stylist did a great job with my Fix this month!  I asked for some Date Night pieces, and I think she delivered.  I plan to ask for a similar Date Night fix again next month (maybe without the $178 top though ;)!
