Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for over five years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.

My April 2018 Birchbox included the following items:
~Schmidt’s™ Deodorant Stick (Lavender + Sage) (full-size) ($8.99): This 100% all-natural deodorant is vegan and paraben-, phthalate-, gluten-, and cruelty-free. It uses plant-based powders (instead of aluminum) to absorb wetness and neutralize odor. This works for me in the winter and for workouts that aren’t overly sweaty (like barre). I’d skip this on a hot summer day or for spin class though.
~Oribe Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse (0.8oz) ($5.47): I.love.this. Why haven’t I tried this sooner? It was a little hard to get out of the container, but once I did, OMG. It gave my hair amazing volume without leaving it all hard and crunchy. So good!
~Adesse New York Cupuaçu Butter Lip Balm™ (0.05oz) ($10.91): I had to look at the price a few times on this one! Ouch! It gave me a hint of pink color and did a great job moisturizing, but the $24 full-size price-tag is just too much for me.
~Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG! Bigger, Badder, Volumizing Mascara (0.1oz) ($8): I’ve mentioned t a few times, but I have eyelash extensions, so I don’t wear mascara anymore. That said, I have tried this in the past and liked it. You have to wait for it to dry in between coats though – don’t try to apply a second coat right away or you’ll end up with a mess.
~Bioderma® Sensibio Eye Contour Gel (.06oz) ($2.39): This eye cream reduces puffiness and is supposed to also reduce fine lines and puffiness. The sample is pretty small, so I doubt I will see any improvement in my fine lines, but it soaked it quickly and didn’t leave any residue which I liked.
All totaled I came up with a value of $35.76 for my April 2018 Birchbox. I loved this box! I am so excited about the mousse and will be buying more with my Sephora code!
