ipsy Review - May 2018
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy bags have a ton of variation, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.

ipsy Review - May 2018
The May 2018 ipsy theme is “Go There,” and my Glam Bag included the following items:

~APHRODITE Olive Oil Face Scrub (15mL) ($1.58): This creamy scrub has ground olive and almond seeds which provide exfoliation while soothing chamomile and grapeseed oils leave the skin soft and supple.  It’s not harsh and left my skin feeling incredibly soft.ipsy Review - May 2018

~M.A.D. SKINCARE Delicate Skin Cleansing Gel (1oz) ($4.74): This cleansing gel is gentle and non-drying.  I have been using it with my new LUNA FOFO and it’s a great combo!  ipsy Review - May 2018

~FIRST AID BEAUTY Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum (0.25oz) ($9): This serum infuses skin with essential hydration to help plump and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  It’s cruelty-free and made without Parabens , Sulfates and Phthalates.  I can’t “see” any difference yet, but it didn’t make me break out and my skin feels hydrated.ipsy Review - May 2018

~NOMAD COSMETICS Havana Intense Eyeshadow (Cohíba) (1.5g) ($8.18): Love.this.color.  It’s shimmery without being too intense, but still “enough”.  According to the website, this rich brown shade was inspired by the brand of cigars preferred by none other than Señor Fidel Castro.ipsy Review - May 2018

~ADESSE NEW YORK Gel Effect Nail Polish (Oh, Cabana Boy) (full-size) ($18): This pale blue shade is described as “Hampton chic”.  The formula gives the nails the “plump” look of a gel manicure without a UV or LED lamp. I’ll be trying it out on my toes this week when I switch my polish!ipsy Review - May 2018

~The Bag: This month’s bag is perfect for the “Go There” travel theme.  I want to fill up my passport with ALL THE STAMPS just like this bag!

ipsy Review - May 2018

All totaled the June 2018 ipsy had a value of $41.50.  I wasn’t sold on my bag this month until it came in the mail and I tested everything out.  I loved how skincare focused it was as that’s been my focus lately as well.
