The June 2018 BOXYCHARM theme is “Caribbean Queen” and included the following items:
~JonteBlu Eyeliner Pencil in Charcoal ($5): This eyeliner is 100% vegan and waterproof. It glides on easily and works well on your waterline or alone your upper lash line. I don’t wear eyeliner (ever), but for the price, this seems pretty darn great!
~OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (Verona) ($21): Verona is a mocha nude brown with a hydrating matte finish. I prefer glossy lips over matte lips, but I do love this shade, so I will use a coat of gloss over it. Note: Subscribers reciter either an OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick or a Girlactik Lipstick.
~Luxie 3-Piece Flawless Complexion Brush Set ($42): This set contains the following brushes:
Precision Foundation Face Brush 660: Perfect for applying both powder and liquid foundations. It has less bristle density and, like all Luxie brushes, it is handcrafted with high-quality, soft synthetic bristles using hypoallergenic, vegan, and cruelty-free materials.
Tapered Highlighting Face Brush 552: This tapered brush lets you easily apply your favorite powder highlighter to the high points of your face or set your under eye makeup.
Duo Fiber Powder Brush 516: The third brush works for cream or powder makeup and helps you achieve a softer, flawless finish.
~Battington Monroe Silk Lashes ($28): I have eyelash extensions, but I have a few friends who go wild when I get lashes in subscription boxes. These 3D lashes provide moderate length and dramatic volume, who doesn’t want that? With proper care, they should last for up to 25 wears. Note: Lash glue is not included and will need to be purchased.
~Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream ($10): This cream absorbs quickly to help visibly tighten the appearance of skin. I LOVE IT. I currently use the NIVEA Skin Firming & Toning Gel-Cream and probably wouldn’t switch to this, but that’s mainly because of the price difference. The Pistachio and Salted Caramel fragrance is incredible and I cannot get enough of it!
~Alamar Reina Del Caribe Cosmetics Palette ($28): I am blown away by how pigmented these shades are! Shades on the palette with a water drop next o them can be applied wet for an even more intense application. Shades are as follows:
La Costa– (High shine shimmer) Pearly champagne with pink highlights
El Malecon– (Extreme high shine metallic) True gold with rich olive undertones.
Varadero– (Extreme high shine metallic) Stunning deep royal blue/teal.
Celia– (High shine shimmer) Vivid turquoise with gold reflects
Coco-taxi– (Velvet matte) Yellow toned bright orange.
Tropico– (Velvet Matte) Intense burnt orange.
Guantanamera– (Velvet Matte) Deep raspberry/burgundy
Cafecito– (Velvet Matte) Deep Coffee
All totaled the June 2018 BOXYCHARM had a value of $134. As usual, BOXYCHARM nailed it. How do they do it??
