The April 2018 SnackSack included the following items:
~Garcia 3Seed Sweet Potato Crackers: These crackers had a ton of flavor – way more than I was expecting. They are gluten-free, non-GMO and just as good with dip or without.
~PopChips Nutter Puffs – Peanut Butter & Chocolate: I need to find out if these are sold locally because they are delicious. They are puffed snacks made with peanut butter, chocolate and corn. They have 5g of protein, 130 calories; they are non-GMO and gluten-free. So good!
~Good Karma Dairy Free Flaxmilk: Not exactly like chocolate milk, but if you follow a dairy free diet (and I do not), this may be a good alternative.
~Artisan Tropic Plantain Strips: I don’t think I realized how much I loved plantain strips until subscription boxes came along. These have no preservatives, no natural flavors and are non-GMO. They weren’t too salty, but they didn’t lack flavor either.
~Chinook Seedery Dill Pickle Seeds: These are a flavor combination of fresh dill pickles and sunflower seeds. They were a miss for me, but my husband loved them!
~Vegetarian Traveler Toasted Bean Blend Tri-Soy Medley: These plant-based protein toppers are great on pasta, soup, and salads. They are also pretty darn tasty straight out of the bag!
~OCHO Candy Organic Peanut Butter: These bars have a smooth & crunchy peanut butter center and are covered in creamy organic milk chocolate. They are just as good as they sound. The peanut butter isn’t at all dry; it’s rich and delicious.
~The GFB – Coconut Cashew Crunch: I am not a fan of coconut or cashew, so this was a miss for me. But it does have 11g of protein and 3g of fiber, which makes it very filling.
~Go Organically Fruit Snacks: These are made with real fruit and 100% Vitamin C. They are GMO-free, and USDA certified organic. My 6-year-old loved them!
~TruWomen You’re Mocha Me Cocoa: Now this one, I haven’t tried yet. It has 15g of vegan protein, 90 calories per serving and contains no dairy, no soy, and is gluten-free. Seems like something you may want to stash in your desk for an afternoon pick-me-up.
~Lundberg Family Farms French Onion Red Rice & Quinoa: This is another snack I want to find locally! They have a savory onion flavor plus a hint of tangy sour cream. I liked these just fine alone, but I think they’d be amazing with salsa and/or guacamole!
~The Bag: The box also included a SnackSack tote bag. You can use this to tote your snacks around, and when they run out, it makes for a great library bag.
