SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

The May 2018 SnackSack included the following items:

~Treasure Trove Crunch Snacks (Sesame & Pumpkin Seeds & Mixed Seeds & Almonds):  These snacks have no artifical ingredients, no sodium and are non-GMO. They look a little birdseed’ish, but they are crunchier than I was expecting which won me over.

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~emmy Organics Dark Cacao Organic Chocolate Cookie: These cookies are non-GMO, vegan, kosher, dairy-free and gluten-free. I have to admit; I am not a fan.  The texture and coconut flavor just don’t work for me.

~Supereats Truffle Rosemary Puffs: OMG, I love these!  They are Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Kosher and have 8g of Protein.  And they are packed with flavor.  Where have these been all my life?

~Simply Smart Bar (Fruit & Nut): This one was a miss for me.  The bar is Vegan, Peanut Free, Gluten Free, NON-GMO and Soy Free. It was just a little too, I don’t know, too something.

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~Navitas Naturals Superfood+ Hemp Bar (Creamy Peanut): The peanut butter flavor was a nice offset to the hemp flavor.  I was expecting this one to be a miss as well, but it wasn’t at all.

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~Awake Milk Chocolate Bite & Dark Chocolate Bite: I don’t see how you can go wrong with caffeinated chocolate.  I preferred the rich dark chocolate one, but both were fantastic and I did get a great boost of energy.

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~Lavle Belgian Dark Chocolate: This chocolate contains FLAVANOLS, which help maintain a healthy blood flow. Interesting.  I couldn’t taste a difference, but I did enjoy the chocolate.

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~Vegan Rob’s Kombuchabar: I have never been a fan of kombucha and the same appears to go for kombuchabars.  I could taste the cranberry flavor, but I feel like it was overpowered by everything else.SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~Lilly’s Roasted Garlic Hummus: I was thrilled to see hummus in there!  My 6-year-old is a huge fan and so am I.  It’s flavorful, made with organic chickpeas, non-GMO and gluten-free.  So good!

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018
~Route 11 Kettle Cooked Potato Chips: I passed these along to my husband who loved them!  He said they had a ton of flavor and didn’t leave massive salt residue like some kettle chips do.

SnackSack Subscription Box Review - May 2018

~Coco Yummys White Chocolate Coconut: These are coconut treats, but I wasn’t turned off by the coconut flavor.  The white chocolate balanced it nicely!
