Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

My Stitch Fix shipped via FedEx and took just a few days to arrive this month.
If you can’t wait to see what’s in your FIX, you can go into your account after your box ships to check what you are getting that month. I always do!
I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot. I also started a Pinterest board which has helped.
My July 2018 Stitch Fix (Fix #59) included the following items:
~41 Hawthorn Camarin Tulip Hem Blouse ($54): I love this top and feel like it would be amazing for date night! The neckline is fun and I don’t have many tops like it. However, it has some darts in the bust area which just don’t fall right on me. They made the top stick out on the sides and it just wasn’t as flattering as it could have been. Verdict: Returned.
~DL1961 Amanda Distressed Skinny Jean ($128): Super cute jeans. I love the tiny bit of distressing, the wash, the fit thru the waist and legs, just about everything. I didn’t like that the ankles weren’t fitted. They were almost baggy and I wasn’t feeling it. I could roll them, but for $128, I want my jeans to be perfect (for me). Verdict: Returned.
~Kaileigh Lexy Knit Jumpsuit ($58): Ahh, the jumpsuit. It is totally not me, but I 100% appreciate my stylist pulling it for me. I don’t exactly hate it, but I also don’t know where I would wear it or how often I would actually grab for it when I did have somewhere to wear it? Verdict: Returned.
~Mix by 41 Hawthorn Trumer Essential Knit Top ($28): Meh. This top is super soft and stretchy, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the fit. It seemed almost too stretchy? For the price point, I feel like I could do better (Madewell v-necks are my current go-to). Verdict: Returned.
~Sweaty Betty Power Performance Leggings ($110): I like the fit, the pattern, the colors, basically everything but the price. They are well-made not at all sheer and I love the thick waistband (it sucks everything in nicely). But if I am spending $110 on leggings, they are going to be lululemon. Sorry Sweaty Betty! Verdict: Returned.
I may not be keeping anything from this Stitch Fix, but I did well like it was very well curated for me. My stylist did a great job selecting pieces and I cannot wait to see what I get in my next box! I should note that I have the $49 Style Pass, so I can get as many fixes as I want in a year without paying $20/Fix. It was a one-time fee of $49 and then the $49 is applied towards whatever you keep from your fixes – no expiration. So my Fixes are risk-free now and I do not lose my $20 fee if I don’t keep anything!
