Michael’s $4 Christmas Grab Bag Review!

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

Every once in a while (after major holidays I believe) Michael’s offers grab bags (or in this case boxes) for $4.  Note – they were previously $2 – check out my 2016 Grab Bag review here.  They are pretty much filled with extra things that Michaels can’t sell, seasonal decorations, items that are being discontinued, etc. I saw on Instagram earlier in the week that they were on sale so I stopped by my store yesterday and there they were!

The Box

This box was packed full! I peeked in the handle openings of a few boxes while I was at the store and thought this one looked promsing.  Basically all I could tell was that I did not see tinsel and that this one felt heavier than the other boxes (some boxes were larger though).

My box contained 5 tubes of ornaments, 4 boxes of mini ornaments, 3 rolls of ribbon, a few “tiny treasures” (greenery and a unicorn), 2 potted poinsettias , a car bow (hahahaha), a stamp and a snowman hanging decoration.  Not bad for $4.  Not bad at all!!!!!

Have you ever gotten a Michael’s grab bag (box)?  What’d you get? Where you pleased?

**These are available in-store only, while supplies last.  Call your local store to see if they have them as your mileage may vary.**

Thanks to your Instagram I got 2 bags this morning! I don?t celebrate Christmas so I passed up those bags. I got a ton of Thanksgiving crafts, a foldable stool, photo albums (which I?ve already passed along), and a ton of moving stamps, whatever those are. Plus a few other random items. I always keep what I will use and pass the rest on to family, friends, or charity.

That’s a great box! I stopped by my Michael’s this morning but all they had left were bags of tinsel, tubes of ornaments, and a couple of boxes with ribbon and tinsel. Guess I was too late, but my wallet was happy! lol

I?ve gotten them in the past (like 4 months ago). One was in a big rectangular basket (you could tell the shape) which I needed anyway- so worth it right there! It was filled with Washi tapes, to-do note pads, scrapbooking paper and stickers!
