Play! by Sephora Review - February 2019

Play! by Sephora has switched to recycled bags (they previous sent cloth bags) and I love them. I usually ended up tossing the drawstring cloth ones, but I will save these resealable ones.

The February 2019 Play! by Sephora theme is “Lovestruck Beauty” and included the following items:

~fresh Rose Face Mask (15mL) ($12.50): This best selling Fresh mask has real rose petals suspended in a silky gel that hydrates and tones for supple, dewy skin.  It is great for all-skin types and smells fantastic.  And fits nicely for the Lovetruck theme!

~Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (10mL) ($9.75): This sorbet is an ultra-lightweight soothing and hydrating gel-cream.  It made my skin feel moisturized, but not greasy.  I wish it smelled like sorbet, but I guess you can not have it all.

~Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks ($4.17): YAAASS!  If we received eye masks in every single subscription box, I would be a happy girl.  These reduce puffiness, dark circles, etc.  Love them.

Play! by Sephora Review - February 2019

~Milk Makeup Blur Stick (~$7): The Milk Blur Stick is a lightweight, silicone-free, matte primer stick that minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines with powder-filled, blurring microspheres.  The idea is to be an instagram filter for your skin.  Some people reported that it separated their foundation, but tried it alone and was happy with the results.  I got the blurred effect without looking like I did much of anything at all.

~Stella Eau de Parfum (~$1): Stella has notes of Rose, Peony Flower, Mandarin, Rose Absolute and Amber.  To be honest it is way to strong at first and I was wondering why it gets such great reviews.  But it does settle down into a gorgeous scent.  After a few hours I certainly understood those reviews.

~Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick (Rhubarb) (~$13): The final item in the box was a Bite lipstick in Rhubarb, which is a rich plum rose.  It is much less purple looking in person than it is online and that makes me quite happy!  I am a fan!

All totaled the February 2019 Play! by Sephora had a value of nearly $48. FANTASTIC!  This was an amazing box and I am more than pleased.  So worth my $10!

What did you think of the February 2019 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.
