BOXYCHARM Subscription Review – April 2019

BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.

BOXYCHARM ships via FedEx Smart Post (starts out with FedEx and is delivered by USPS) mid-month.

I had no idea what my variations were, so I was excited to dig in!

The April 2019 BOXYCHARM theme is “Peace, Love & Boxy” and included the following items:

~Pur the Complexion Authority Festival Palette ($36):  I feel like while this isn’t a perfect fit for me, it is a perfect fit for festival season and this box. The colors are highly pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way.  In addition to the very bold shimmery and glittery shadows, there are also a couple of very neutral shades, so I guess this might be “me” after all!

The box also included a sample of PUR Get A Grip Endurance Eyeshadow Primer to make your shadow go on and stay on even better!

~Luxie The Summer Daze 3PC Brush Set ($28): This set includes: Luxie 209 Large Shader, Luxie 245 Small Shader and Luxie 512 Small Contouring brush.  The packaging and brush colors scream festival don’t they?  Brushes 209 and 245 work nicely for shadows, while 512 works well for applying your favorite blush and bronzer.

~Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder ($27): Summer haze has a light champagne pink base with shimmering multicolored pearls.  You can use it for a soft glow on your cheekbones or all over your body for a fun festival look.

~Kristofer Buckle Cashmere Slip Longwear Lipstick (Doll) ($17.50):  Doll is highly pigmented lipstick that lasts for up to 8 hours.  Much to my surprise, I am a fan!  I found it moisturizing and not too bold.

~Starlooks Ultra-Gem Longwear Eye Pencil ($15): I know I will never use this, so I opted to keep it sealed up so I could donate it.  Regardless of the color, eyeliner and eye pencils are a miss for me.

All totaled I came up with a value of $123.50 for my April 2019 BOXYCHARM. As usual, the value was fantastic.   I may not be headed to a music festival this season, but this box has me feeling ready for one!
