ipsy Review - April 2019
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

This month’s ipsy information card listed all of the products included in my bag. I love that ipsy is now doing this! My April 2019 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Peel + Polish (10mL) ($5): A gentle, but effective facial polish.  It left my skin silky smooth with zero irritation at all!

~TheBalm Cosmetics theBalmJour Creamy Lip Stain in Namaste (1.7mL) ($3.66): Namaste is a berry colored lippe that goes on like a gloss, dries to a stain, and delivers the color payoff of a highly-pigmented lipstick.  Super wearable and super pretty shade!

~Law Beauty Essentials Nail Polish in Purrrrplicious (Full-Size) ($9): Love.this.color.  I have been getting dip on my fingernails (LOVE dip manis), but I use all my fun polish colors on my toes.  This is billed as a bubble gum purple and and only took two shades for a perfect look.

~Apto Skincare Nourishing Mask with Blue Spirulina (15mL) ($8): This mask is designed for those with dry skin types (which I have in the winter) and has a combination of squalane to improve elasticity and blue spirulina to promote the growth of new healthy cells.  I have used it a few times so far and it feels like my skin is a bit firmer and brighter.

~Tarte Double Duty Beauty Base Tape Hydrating Primer (10mL) ($10): Base tape is a vegan, coconut priming serum that hydrates your skin for 12 hours.  It keeps your skin hydrated so your makeup goes on smoothly and stays that way all day.

~The Bag: This is one of my all-time favorite ipsy bags.  I love the lemons, the bright colors and basically every single thing about this bag!

All totaled my April 2019 ipsy had a value of nearly $37.  Almost 4x the cost of the subscription and a great month for me selection wise!
