ipsy Review - June 2019
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

I peeked at my preview when it first came out, but opening this still felt like a surprise!

This month’s ipsy information card listed all of the products included in my bag. I love that ipsy is now doing this! My June 2019 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~TETRIS™ X IPSY Lipgloss in Tetrimino (~$10): Tetrimino is a sparkly pearl shimmer with gold glitter and I love it!  It is glossy, shimmery and looks great on.  I followed the directions and applied lip balm first which I think was the key to loving it. It also makes for a great topper!

~HEY HONEY Sweet Treat Wild Berry & Honey Yogurt Recovery Mask (15mL) ($10.29): Smells so good!  It is designed to restore skin elasticity and to help soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also protecting against environmental damage.  I have not noticed any difference with fine lines and wrinkles, but my skin does feel and look smoother!

~PIXI BY PETRA Glow Mud Cleanser (15mL) ($1.97): A cleanser and exfoliator in one!  It is gentle, yet super effective.  My skin was glowing after using this one.

~NEOGEN CODE9 Black Volume Cream (0.35oz) ($1.60): More of a gel than a cream, but it actually is black!  As promised my skin did feel dewy and bouncy after using this. It is unlike anything I have used before that is for sure.  It can be used morning or night, but I prefer to use it at bedtime.

~FIRST AID BEAUTY Ultra Repair Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer (0.34oz) ($5.60): Love First Aid Beauty! This primer hydrates, brightens and locks makeup in place. As usual with primers I wear it alone and not under makeup.  It is summer and this feels like enough on me.

~The Bag: Tetris!  I have not played tetris in years, but my 11-year-old plays it, so it must be cool.  This bag is certainly cool.  I mean check out the tetrominoes zipper pull!

All totaled my June 2019 ipsy Glam Bag had a value of about $30. Not the best value wise, but it was a fun, solid month for me.
