I had no idea what my variations were, so I was excited to dig in!
The August 2019 BOXYCHARM theme is “TOTALLY” and included the following items:
~BECCA Hydra-Mist & Refresh Powder ($39): This is an ultra-translucent setting powder that sets makeup for extended wear with a revitalizing, mist-like effect on skin. I pretty much love this. It didn’t settle into my fine lines and really did have a blur effect on my skin. I am a much bigger fan of this than I was expecting!
~Wander Glow Ahead Illuminating Oil ($42): Another winner! I mixed this with my normal moisturizer and it gave my skin a nice glow look without making it look or feel oily / greasy. A little goes a long way, so just take caution when you are squeezing it out of the tube.
~Tarte Big Ego Mascara ($23): I don’t wear mascara (lash extensions), so this will be passed along to a friend. It is a vegan mascara free of parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, and triclosan and promises to leave your lashed fluffy for up to 16 hours.
~Pur The Complexion Authority Pink Glitter Mask 2oz ($26): I.love.this. The mask is a collaboration with Barbie and it is everything you’d expect from a Barbie face mask. It’s glittery and pink and so fun to use. It is designed to deep clean pore-clogging impurities and exfoliate away dead skin. It’s super easy to peel off too – no irritation at all and it’s not messy.
~Lashaholics Instagram False Eyelashes ($14.99): As I mentioned I have lash extensions, so in addition to the mascara, these lashes are something I can’t use. I will pass these along to a friend as well. They are 100% silk and ultra-glam.
All totaled my August 2019 BOXYCHARM had a value of $145. Even though a few of the items weren’t a great fit for me personally, I still thought this box was totally awesome. The barbie mask alone made the box worth it for me!
