Instructions
This month featured a Mug Stand & Mugs Kit.  The instructions for Adults & Crafts projects are always very clear and easy to understand.

Materials

Materials included were:
~Precut Wood Pieces
~Sandpaper
~White Paint
~Foam Brush
~Mugs
~Q-Tip
~Hooks & Screws
~Deck Screw
~Oil-Based Sharpie
~Screwdriver
~Alcohol Pad

Additional supplies needed were:
~Oven
~Nail Polish Remover

Step #1
The first step was to use the sandpaper to smooth any touch edges or blemishes in the wood.  Our pieces were fairly smooth to begin with, so this took under a minute.  No issues at all!

Step #2
The second step was to paint the three wood pieces with the white paint and foam brush.  It took a few coats to cover the wood pieces, but there was plenty of paint to get the job done.  Just be careful not to get too much paint in the screw holes.

Step #3 & #4
The next step was to assemble the stand and screw in the hooks.  My husband did this part for me.  He had no trouble at all and I was thrilled with how it turned out.
Step #5
The fifth step is to make your custom mugs.  I had the most trouble with this step.  I just could not decide what to make!  Ultimately I settled on a hashtag mug and a hearts mug.  I made a few errors, but was able to remove them with just a little water and scrubbing.  I did not even need nail polish remover.

Step #6
Once you are done with your mug design, let them sit for 24 hours to dry and then bake them to cure the artwork.  You should still handwash them and try not to scrub the outside just to make sure they are extra safe!

Step #7
All finished!  I thought everything turned out great and think this will look fabulous sitting on my counter!!
