I had no idea what my variations were (there is no way to peek wth BOXYCHARM), so I was excited to dig in!

The October 2019 BOXYCHARM theme is “After Dark” and included the following items:

~Dose of Colors Baked Browns Eyeshadow Palette ($32):  BOXY sends lots of palettes (I need to go a post of all the palettes they have sent in the past year), but this is easily one of my favorites.  It features 5 ultra pigmented matte brown shades with a smooth buttery feel. All are gorgeous and buildable, so you can a soft daytime look or a smokey eye for night. Shades are as follows:

  • Tea Light – Off white
  • Deserted – Sandy Caramel Beige
  • Outdoorsy – Tawny peachy brown
  • Cherrywood – Reddish rusty brown
  • Rock Bottom – Chocolate Brown

~touch in SOL Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm ($32): I have been using this for a few weeks now and I love it. It is not greasy at all, and melts right into my skin.  The 5-in-1 glow balm delivers roles of hydrating cream + moist pack + primer + glow cream + boosting for your radiant skin.  I read some reviews about breakouts caused by this, but I had no one of those issues (and I would describe my skin as acne prone for sure).

~Chella Tweezers ($20): Tweezers!!!  I don’t know why, but I am always thrilled to get new tweezers in a subscription box.  These are a different angle than I normally use and it took a minute to get adjusted, but now I find them easy to hold and can really grab the hair by the root.

~Skin & Co. Truffle Therapy Radiant Dew Mist ($35):  I (wrongly) assumed this was a body mist.  It encourages a radiant complexion while rebalancing skin’s pH level, tightening pores, and setting makeup.  It does make my skin feel nice and look glowy.  Plus I like the peppermint scent – very Christmasy.

~Iconic London Lip Plumping Gloss ($26): This is a high shine gloss with plumping powers.  I LOVE IT.  We get so many mattes in subscription boxes that getting a glossy lippie feels like such a treat.  I received nearly nude which is a soft taupe.  The plumping action isn’t overly intense (the tingle isn’t aggressive), but I did feel like my lip looked plumper.

All totaled my October 2019 BOXYCHARM had a value of $145.  As usual, it is an incredible box value and I could not be happier with it.  Actually I think this is one of my favorite BOXYCHARM boxes to date!!!
