ipsy Review - October 2019
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy Review - October 2019
ipsy ships around the 10th of the month via USPS. This is the first time in the over even year I have been subscribing to ipsy that my package did not come in their signature hot pink mailer. I guess things are changing!

If it fits, ipsy does try to put all your goodies in that months bag.
ipsy Review - October 2019
This month’s ipsy information card listed all of the products included in my bag. I love that ipsy is now doing this! My October 2019 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~Aphrodite Skin Care Olive Oil Deep Cleansing Face Mask (15mL) ($2.20): I am all about all the face masks right now.  This one hydrates, restores radiance and helps draw out impurities – all of which I need right now.  My skin has been breaking out a ton.  I don’t know if it s the weather, the stress of the holidays or what, but this is much needed.

~First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads (10 Pads) ($5.71): Yes!  I love these for breakouts too!  I like being able to see the dirt that is being removed from my face with this.  They are not harsh, but I would call them powerful.  Getting these reminded me that I need to buy a full-size.

~Betty Boop x IPSY Drawn to You Eyeliner (1.2mL) (~$16): I found this valued at $16 somewhere, so that is the value I am going with. I think we all know how I feel about black eyeliner, so needless to say this was a miss for me.

~Beautaniq Beauty Butter Lip & Cheek Balm in Mauve Lychee (4g) ($16):Ahh, so pretty!  This is a highly pigmented buttery cream blusher.  A little goes a long way, so start with less than you think you need.  It can be used on your cheeks or lips and is super easy to apply (I just used my fingers).

~It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC + Cream with SPF 50+ in Medium (4mL) ($5): Yes!  Send me everything by it Cosmetics!  This fits right in line with my breakouts – I received a few things to fix them and something to cover them in the meantime.

~The Bag: I am not a huge Betty Boop fan, but I do think this bag is adorable!  And the back being covered in sequins is even better!!!

All totaled my October 2019 ipsy had a value of about $45.  A big chunk of that was the eyeliner which I am not a fan of, but overall I am happy with the October bag.
