Play! by Sephora has switched to recycled bags (they previous sent cloth bags) and I love them. I usually ended up tossing the drawstring cloth ones, but I will save these resealable ones.

The November 2019 Play! by Sephora theme is “Beauty for Self-Care” and included the following items:

~Nars Lipstick in Tolède (.05oz) ($10.83): Tolède is a pink rose shade.  It is absolutely gorgeous and I think it is universally flattering.  The pigmentation was perfect and I found this to be extremely moisturizing.

~GLAMGLOW – GLOWSTARTER™ Mega Illuminating Moisturizer (15mL) ($14.70): I get so excited every time I get GlamGlow in a subscription box.  This is a daily illuminating moisturizer that is designed to give your skin an instant glow.  It is tinted, so you can even kip the BB cream.
Play! by Sephora Review - November 2019

~LANCÔME HYPNÔSE DRAMA Instant Full Body Volume Mascara (4mL) ($18.33):  Ahh, mascara.  It is becoming like black eyeliner for me.  I do like mascara though, I just do not use it anymore (I have lash extensions).  This mascara, like all the others, will be passed on to a friend.
Play! by Sephora Review - November 2019

~CLINIQUE Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (~$10): If you have never tried Clinique Black Honey almost lipstick, I would be shocked.  It has been around forever and is a cult classic.  It look good on everyone and if you haven’t tried it yet, just go ahead and go it.  I doubt you will regret it.

~DR. JART+ Cicapair ™ Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 (5mL) ($5.20): This is a green-to-beige color-correcting treatment that corrects redness and protects skin from UV damage and environmental aggressors. This is similar to the gel product I received in my October Birchbox, but I think I like this version better.  It does a great job of taking away redness and the built-in SPF is just what I need.

~YVES SAINT LAURENT Black Opium (1.2mL) ($1.65): Black Opium is a warm and spicy scent with notes of Black Coffee, White Flowers, and Vanilla.  It is a powering scent, but not overpowering.  I smell a lot of vanilla in it, which I love.

All totaled my November 2019 Play! by Sephora had a value of about $61!  Nice! I am quite pleased with this months box, but I was a tad surprised to see two lip products in here.  Luckily I do like both of them!

What did you think of the November 2019 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.

Spread the love
