I had no idea what my variations were (there is no way to peek wth BOXYCHARM), so I was excited to dig in!

The February 2020 BOXYCHARM theme is “ADORE” and included the following items:

~Kate Somerville | KX Active Concentrates Bio-Mimicking Peptides Serum ($98): I selected this as my choice item for the February box and couldn’t be happier.  It is a lightweight serum that is designed to refresh and renew skin as it firms, smooths, and hydrates.  I found it to be super hydrating as promised and it I feel like it is making my skin glowy.   My skin looks and feels smoother and while I know it will not be enough to get rid of any deep lines I have, I do think it has helped with some of the finer lines around my eyes.  The texture is not sticky and can be worn under makeup without issue.

~Alamar Cosmetics | Complexion Brush Trio ($36): This gorgeous three piece brush set is made of vegan, synthetic fibers. The brushes can be used for creams and powders for anything from blushes and bronzers to foundations and concealers.  I appreciate that BOXYCHARM sends so many brushes and tools, but they just aren’t something I use that often.

~Ciate London | Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Powder ($22): The incredible smell of this makes me want to start using setting powder. LOL!  It helps with shine and with summer and warmer weather on the horizon, not having a shiny face all the time would be nice.  And did I mention how great this smells?

~Pretty Vulgar | Faux Reals Extreme Volume Mascara ($23): As you know I have lash extensions, so I don’t wear mascara. According to the description, this one is supposed to crate fullness and delivers a dramatic, false-lash effect in just one swipe – hence the name.  I will pass this along to a friend to enjoy.

~Qveen | Matte Liquid Lip Stain (Wifey) ($17): Wifey is a ruby chocolate pink shade.  This is a creamy matte shade.  I didn’t find it drying (which is one of my dislikes with matte lippies) and I do love the color. I plan to top it with a bit of gloss to make it work better for me.

All totaled the February 2020 BOXYCHARM had a value of $196.  While this box wasn’t the best fit for me personally, it was worth the $25 cost.  The serum alone is nearly quadruple the cost of the box and I will use every last drop of that!
