Birchbox is a monthly subscription of beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. They recently increased the price of their box from $10/month to $15/month (current subscribers were grandfathered in at $13/month or $10/month for annual subscribers) and promise improvements to personalization, new products to choose from, more customization options for subscribers and faster shipping, among other things. April 2019 was the first month of the changes and I was anxious to get my box and see the changes for myself.

This review is on the April 2020Birchbox. I opted to make a sample choice selection this month and did not opt for a curated box as I did last month.
My April 2020 Birchbox included the following items:
~Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment (5mL) ($14.45): The Sunday Riley Good Genes treatment brightens, smooths, plumps, and evens out skin tone without irritation. I love this stuff. This was my sample choice selection this month and to be real, if this offered this every month, I would select it. It isn’t smoothing my forehead quite as effectively as Botox does, but it does help.
~Bumble and bumble. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer (10mL) ($1.12): This leave-in hair treatment defrizzes and detangles dry, coarse, or brittle hair, plus protects from heat, the sun, and breakage. I found it to be lightweight and it gave my hair great shine!
~NatureLab Tokyo Perfect Smooth Blowout Lotion (30mL) ($3): I try to avoid heat styling my hair whenever possible, but I am happy to have this when I do. This blowout lotion creates a protective sheath around your hair which makes it easier to blow-dry your hair and have your hair end up looking silky smooth. The price point on this is amazing on this as well.
~Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lip Tint (6mL) ($9.50): I received this in Aura, which gives your lips a light hint of red. Its so good. Not sticky, gives great shine and I love the color.
~IBY Beauty City Limits Eyeshadow Palette (0.05oz) ($2.38): I received this in Road Trip, which is a great nude with a slight shimmer. Very pretty and I like the shimmer!
All totaled my April 2020 Birchbox had a value of $30.45. I absolutely loved this box! So good!
