ipsy Review - April 2020
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $12 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $12.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

If it fits, ipsy does try to put all your goodies in that months bag.

Once again, this month’s ipsy information card listed all of the products included in my bag. I love that ipsy is now doing this! My April 2020 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~GLOSSIER Priming Moisturizer Rich (0.5oz) ($11.67): I wasn’t expecting the lavender smell, but I don’t hate it.  It is deeply moisturizing and absorbs quickly.  I didn’t feel like it left my skin greasy and it makes me want to try more of the Glossier line.

~BALANCE ME Wonder Eye Cream (7mL) ($14): This lightweight eye cream instantly relieves any puffiness, so signs of fatigue or irritation, are visibly undetectable.  It did reduce puffiness, but the dark circles remain (it does not promise to fix those).  Anything that depuffs my eyes quickly is a winner to me.

~YC COLLECTION Loose Setting Powder in #215 (1.8g) (~$3): This powder prevents your under eyes from creasing or getting oily throughout the day.  This isn’t a product I will use often, but it is nice to have on hand.

~ARACELI BEAUTY Chiquita Blending Brush ($14): This brush is made with ultra soft nano-synthetic fibers that form the dense oval shape and make blending and packing color easy.  I didn’t notice a ton of product fall out, it just seems to be an all-around solid brush.

~KALEIDO COSMETICS Skin Blush in Primadonna (3g – full-size) ($8): The blush is talc-free and formulated with 100% plant-based ingredients  The color (it is a shimmery rose pink) is super pretty and buildable.

All totaled my April 2020 ipsy had a value of about $51.  I love the GLOSSIER and the eye cream (they made the box totally worth it for me) and the rest were just bonus items!
