The May 2020 REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE themed Nomadik included the following items:
~LEUS ECO Wash Bag ($24.99): This ECO Wash Bag catches the microfibers that break off your synthetic clothing during the wash cycle. If we are being honest, I didn’t even know this was a thing. So not only does this stop micro plastic pollution, it also protects and expands the lifespan of your technical clothing and microfiber towels. It also makes a great laundry bag while traveling.
~Coalatree Java Socks ($15): These socks are made with recycled coffee ground – for real. Used coffee grounds are mixed and melted with recycled plastic bottles, then extruded into the fibers to make these socks. How cool is that? According to their website, the process requires minimal resources and utilizes sustainable technologies such as solar power, gray water recycling, and more.
~United by Blue Packable Tote ($12): This packable tote is made from 100% recycled polyester and has an attached carabiner. Sometimes packable totes aren’t as easy to repack as they should be, but I tested this one and was able to pack it up perfectly!
All totaled the May 2020 Nomadik had a value of about $52. I thought this was a fantastic box overall and found everything to be super useful.
