FabFitFun Summer 2020 Review + $10 Off Coupon Code
fabfitfun is a quarterly subscription box that includes hand-selected items (the “hottest of the season”) in beauty, fashion, fitness, and wellness from the fabfitfun team. fabfitfun is billed on a quarterly basis and they even ship to Canada!

fabfitfun
Ships To: Continental United States: Free. Alaska, Hawaii & Canada: $8/Box.
Coupon Code: See Below.

Disclosure: I signed up for an annual FFF subscription again so I could shop the add-ons and get all the customization options. I now get a credit to my account for the cost of the box, which actually applied to my add-ons since I prepaid for the annual subscription myself. So while the box was not technically free, I do have a partnership with FabFitFun and felt it was appropriate to explain.

fabfitfun ships via FedEx Smart Post.  They typically ship to annual box subscribers first, then “VIP / SELECT” subscribers (those who have subscribed long-term) and then quarterly subscribers. I am an annual subscribers, but got a few add-ons, so I am not sure if mine was in the first batch?  Once it did ship, it took just about 2 weeks to actually get to me.  My local Post Office is overloaded (that’s an understatement), so everything is taking slightly longer than normal (totally understandable).

I knew full spoilers before I opened this and for the first time in ages I customized my own box! I peeked on the FFF site as soon as my box shipped so I could see which items I would be receiving that I did not customize.

My Summer 2020 fabfitfun box included the following:

~WINKY LUX Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($16) (*):  Meh.  If this was a selection item it is not one of the items I would have selected for myself.  I got microblading a while back and actually tint my brows (this stuff is fantastic), so this will likely get passed along to a friend.
Note: This one was of the three items which was randomly selected by FFF for all subscribers.

~Cali Cosmetics Foot Cream with Menthol in Barocco ($24) (*): Now this I love!  No pedicures for 3+ months have left my feet in rough shape.  In addition to being softening and healing, the lotion recipe contains menthol which also gives it antiseptic, cooling, refreshing and circulation-stimulating properties.
Note: This one was of the three items which was randomly selected by FFF for all subscribers.

~Spongellé Coconut Verbena Hand Cream ($18) (*): This stuff smells amazing.  Better than amazing actually.  It has a great consistency, rubs in well and is not greasy at all.
Note: This one was of the three items which was randomly selected by FFF for all subscribers.

~grace & stella Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum ($25): Hyaluronic (which is super hard to say by the way) Acid is supposed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots and blemishes while also  brightening and protecting your skin.  Is this working yet?  That’s hard to say.  I think it’s too soon to tell. Or it works just as well as the hyaluronic serum I had been using.
Note: Some subscribers received: Isaac Mizrahi Loves xo, Sienna Vase ($28), The Lyfestyle Co. Beach Mist, OR amika Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Spray ($25).

~Silked LLC Satin Pillow Sleeve ($29.50): This is so interesting.  I have used a satin pillow before and I really do think it has helped with hair breakage, etc.  This is a pillow sleeve and fits over most standard, queen king pillows. I see the benefit because it doesn’t slid around, but also I do like to flip my pillows over at night (it is a hard habit to break) and the back side really isn’t all that comfortable?  Maybe it will just take a little getting used to.
Note: Some subscribers received: Terre Mère Aloe and Tea Tree Toner ($54) OR  Zoë Ayla® Ice Roller ($29.99).

~Kate Somerville Skincare Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream ($65): I actually received this in my Winter 2019 FFF box and loved it so much I selected it again.  It leaves my skin super hydrated, not greasy and a little bit glowy.
Note: Some subscribers received: The Giving Keys Mini Key Necklace ($45),  COOLA Mineral Face Matte Finish Cucumber Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 (CAN Only) ($36), COOLA Mineral Face Organic Matte Finish Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 (US Only) ($36), TOMS Sydney Sunglasses ($68), BLAQmask.com Peel Off Mask + HydroGel Eye Mask with Hyaluronic Acid ($36) OR Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler ($24).

~HydroPeptide Moisture Reset Face Oil ($120): This is absolutely not something I would buy on my own and frankly it’s something I hope I don’t love because it is so expensive.  But frankly I am already loving it.  It plumped up any skin, and my face didn’t feel like an oil slick when I put it on, which is also key. It’s good and I am impressed.  Would I pay full price?  Probably not, but if it were a choice item in a another box, I would likely snag it.
Note: Some subscribers received: Michael Kors Bedford Travel Passport Wallet ($78), Business & Pleasure Co Cooler Bag ($69), Isaac Mizrahi Blue and White Kimono ($59) OR R+Co TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner ($64).

~L*Space Tie Dye Towel ($58): I love this! At 70″ x 30″ it is a great size and it is made from super-soft 100% cotton, lightweightfrench terry. So while it is super absorbent and feels plush, it isn’t heavy at all. I have plans to spend a lot of the summer by the pool, so this is perfect. And the Tie Dye is so on-trend right now. I bought a few pieces during our Stay Home / Quarantine time, but I don’t love any of those patterns/colors as much as I love this towel.
Note: Some subscribers received: Draper James Straw Bag with Floral Scarf ($75), Pottery Barn Mason Ceramic  Diffuser in Solstice ($47), Yumi Kim WirelessCharging Pad ($35), Dr. Brandt Triple Peptide Eye Cream ($82) OR LashesMD Eyelash Conditioner ($69.95).

All totaled I came up with a value of $386 for my Summer 2020 fabfitfun box!  How amazing is that?  FFF always sends the best goodies, and with all the customization options, there really is something for everyone.
