Birchbox is a monthly subscription of beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. They recently increased the price of their box from $10/month to $15/month (current subscribers were grandfathered in at $13/month or $10/month for annual subscribers) and promise improvements to personalization, new products to choose from, more customization options for subscribers and faster shipping, among other things. April 2019 was the first month of the changes and I was anxious to get my box and see the changes for myself.

This review is on the July 2020 Birchbox. I selected a sample item this month instead of a curated box, so most of the items in here were a surprise.
My July 2020 Birchbox included the following items:
~Oribe Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray (1oz) ($5.18): This two-in-one hair spray adds touchable texture with a hint of shine. It did not make my hair sticky nor did it make it feel weighed down. Oribe is a fantastic brand I was introduced to through subscription boxes and it always feels like a treat to receive new goodies from their line.
~Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips (0.1fl.oz) ($2.90): Not a holy grail for me, but close. Real close! This balm is great for moisturizing lips and priming for lip color, plus it also intensely hydrates cuticles, conditions eyelashes, and more. I mainly use it on my lips, but am going to have to start trying it on cuticles too. It is odorless and flavorless, but it does feel thick on, so apply lightly.
~ARROW Cooling Cheek Tint (3ml) ($5.40):I selected this cheek tint as my sample item this month. It gives you just a hint of color and feels cool when you put it on your skin. Super pretty and so easy for summer.
~Floss Beauty My Everyday Eyeshadow – TOKYO (1.5g)($16): TOKYO is a gorgeous shimmery nude shade. It s easy to blend anode not have a ton of pigment, so it is another great item for summer and light makeup days.
~Luseta Beauty Perfect Bonding No.3 Restoring Leave-In Cream (1oz) ($3.53): This leave-in treatment gives hair a boost of strength and protection from heat styling, UV rays, and environmental pollutants. It is not heavy and I did feel like it cut down on a lot of fly-a-ways that I get.
~Luxie Beauty 245 Small Shader Rose Gold Brush ($15): Honestly I could do without brushes in subscription boxes 90% of the time, but I am sure they are a welcome item for many others. I plan to pass this along to one of my teenage neighbors who is all into experimenting with makeup right now.
All totaled my July 2020 Birchbox had a value of $48. I am super happy with my box this month!
