What I’m Trying – October Edition

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

I started off doing these weekly and realized I just don’t have enough things to “try” so I am switching it up and thought I’d share what I am trying on a monthly basis.  Here’s what I’m trying in October:

Ritual Vitamins: I asked on Instagram the other day what vitamins / supplements everyone takes and SO many of you said Ritual.  In fact, everyone seemed to swear by it.  So I figured why not give it a go for a few months and see what I think?  I don’t currently take a multi-vitamin so I am anxious to see what (if any) changes this brings.

Pura: I actually purchased two of these over Labor Day weekend and have been using them for about a week or so now.  So far, I am loving them and have hopes that I will be able to get rid of all the Bath & Body Works wallflowers in my house (I’ve ruined a few chair setting those down uncapped).  While I liking them so far and totally recommend them right now, I want to report back in a month how long the oil lasts in each one, if I have any troubles with the app (the scent strength, schedule, etc. is all controlled through your phone) and how timely refills arrive (I signed up for the subscription refill service).

~Troubles in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand: I pre-ordered this from Amazon and cannot wait to get it (Amazon says it releases 10.6, but also says mine is coming 10.26, so I don’t know?)! I loved the first two in this series and expect great things from this. I have been in a reading slump this summer and have my fingers crossed this book gets me back into it.

Dawn Platinum Powerwash: I feel like everyone is talking about this so when I saw it at Costco during my last visit, I grabbed it.  It is supposed to make wash dishes faster and make them cleaner.  What’s not to like about that? I guess it is great for shower walls and pretty much everything else you want to clean too. I ‘ll report back!

I will check back in at the end of October with my thoughts!
