ipsy Review - August 2020
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $12 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $12.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

If it fits, ipsy does try to put all your goodies in that months bag. Everything fit this month minus a brush.
ipsy Review - August 2020
Once again, this month’s ipsy information card did NOT list the products I was receiving in my bag. It was just a generic card. Not sure if this is Covid related or a new change? My August 2020 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

~DEWYTREE Pore Minimizing Serum (8g / 0.27oz) ($4): This contains Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin A which aim to tighten pores. I didn’t see a noticeable difference using this. It didn’t cause breakouts and didn’t irritate my skin, but I also didn’t notice my pores being any smaller.
ipsy Review - August 2020
~INC.REDIBLE COSMETICS Rollerbaby The Original Rollerball Gloss in Rolling Like a Honey (4mL) ($5.63): So I love the idea of this rollerball lip gloss, but it was a lot of work just to get the product out.  I think the gloss  might be too thick for this rollerball packaging??

ipsy Review - August 2020

~GLAMGLOW BRIGHTEYES™ Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream (3mL) ($7.80): Yes!  I love GlamGlow, so really any new product I get from them to test out is a win.  This fights Dark Circles, Fine Lines and Wrinkles, and Dryness.  Not a holy grail, but I did feel like it brightened up my under eye area.

~LARUCE LR119 Shadow Brush ($28): This shadow brush is basically the only eye shadow brush you’ll need.  Well the only brush I would need anyway.

~BUBBLE T COSMETICS Peach Ice Tea Body Cream (30mL) (~$1): I like the smell, but it’s not something I want all over my body.  Makes for a good hand lotion though.

ipsy Review - August 2020~The Bag: This holographic bag is so fun! Not sure what I will do with it, but I love it!

All totaled my August 2020 ipsy had a value of about $47.  Not my favorite month, but it was worth the price.
