This month’s box was much larger than normal!
The December 2020 Nomadik “STORMY WEATHER” themed box included the following items:
~earth*pak Viewpoint Dry Bag (8L) (~$15): The earth*pak Dry Bag is made from with thick, waterproof, and durable 500D PVC fabric to provide protection from abrasion for screens, glass, and other expensive gear. I don’t even think sturdy describes this bag. It will keep your valuables / clothing dry and safe if you get stuck in the rain or anchor out and want to swim in.
~The Nomadik Lightweight Rain Poncho (No Price Available): You don’t really realize how much you need a poncho until you don’t have one. This one is made from waterproof PEVA material and folds up neatly when not in use.
~LUXPRO Universal Tactical LED Flashlight ($7.99): We have gotten a handful of flashlights in Nomadik boxes over the years but this one is BRIGHT! For a small flashlight it packs a punch and doesn’t take up too much room in your pack.
~GEAR AID Seam Grip WP Waterproof Sealant and Adhesive ($7.95): This needs to explanation. It seals up to 12ft of tents, tarps, awnings, etc to keep moisture out. It will also patch holes in nylon, vinyl, leather and more!
~QuickSurvive 3 Piece Fire Starter (~$3): These will light while wet or frozen and stay lit for up to 10 minutes.
The December 2020 Nomadik box has a value of about $33 plus the value of the poncho (maybe $15?). Solid value with lots of useful outdoor goodies.
