A few of my favorite things this week –
–Flowers. I went to Trader Joe’s last week and was thrilled to see all the fresh flower varieties. They even had ranunculus. If you don’t have a TJ’s near you, try The Bouqs, Farmgirl Flowers or even Home Depot. My friend just bought a gorgeous planted arrangement from there and said the ranunculus just keep blooming and blooming.
–Bala Bangles. If you don’t already have Bala Bangles, you need them! I use my 2lb set at Pure Barre multiple times a week and have a 1lb set I use at home. I wear them when I walk on the treadmill or outside and when I am cleaning the house. They are comfortable, easy to put on and take off and don’t slide around on your wrists or ankles.
–Laundry Glass Jars: I saw someone do this on TikTok (I am obsessed with TikTok) and loved the way it looked so I figured I would do it too! I bought three glass canisters at Target for all laundry products. I picked up the 64oz for my Clorox Bleach Pods, the 128oz for my Unstopables and the 256oz for my Tide Pods. I use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer for certain loads too, but opted not to use the Glass Dispenser for that like they did. I figured the chances of me washing it on a regular basis were pretty slim, so that is going to have to stay in in the jug it comes in!
–RMR-86 Instant Mold and Mildew Stain Remover Spray: I don’t think we have ever discussed my shower before (I mean why would we), but I hate it. It’s a walk-in shower with no ventilation and no step or ledge (shaving is fun). WHY? But my main complaint is that floor is all porous tiles. They never really get dry and collect mold. Totally gross and I can’t even believe I am admitting this. LOL! But I ordered this mold / mildew spray from amazon and it has been a game changer. I am not kidding when I say it got rid of stains I have tried to clean with everything under the sun and more. Straight up magic. I probably should have worn a mask while using this because the smell is STRONG, but it is SO worth it.
~Hats: I don’t know what has gotten into me, but I am ALL ABOUT the hats lately. Cow(girl) hats, baseball hats, fedoras, sun hats, you name it. My current go to is the Brooklyn Hat Co. Safari Hat that came in a Quarterly PopSugar Box. I can’t find it on their site (you can find it on Poshmark though), but this Nordstrom one is a close match. I have been wearing my DTW hats from Aviate and my 313 hat from Codeword often as well.
~Beyond Juice: This is a local (well I think they have stores in Ohio as well as Michigan) thing, but I cannot get enough of Beyond Juice salads and smoothies. My current Go-To’s are the Alive Smoothie (+Lean) and the Prescott Bowl (+Chicken), but really I love it all. Also, they delivery to my house which may or may not be a good thing!
