~Good morning! Today is actually W’s Birthday and B’s was yesterday, so we are in Birthday mode around here! I know some of you have been around here since W was just a baby and believe it or not, he’s turning 9 today. Wow!

~The other exciting news around here is that this is the boys first FULL WEEK of going to school FULL TIME since last March. L (7th grade) has either had a full-time hybrid schedule (2 days in-person, 3 days virtual) or 4 partial days in-person and one virtual day. W (3rd grade) has had 4 full days a week since January, but one day has still been virtual. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I really really hope this schedule sticks up through the end of the year. These kids so need to be back in school full-time with a consistent schedule.

~Let’s see, what else. Ohh, I got a Halo Laser treatment Friday on my Face, Neck and Chest. It helps with sun damage, stimulates collagen, reduces pore size and generally just gives you healthier, younger looking skin. I was warned it was going to be “uncomfortable” and that I would feel “hot” after, but I was NOT prepared. LOL. The procedure itself was painful, but tolerable (think of a prickly zap all over your skin). The heat after was beyond intense. The “warmth” (I felt like my face/neck/chest were on fire) only lasted an hour and a half or so, but I was questioning my decision the entire time. Currently my face feels like sandpaper and is red and swollen – all to be expected. It doesn’t hurt at all though which is good. It should take a few more days for the swelling to come down and the MENDS (microscopic epithelial necrotic debris) to fall off. It’s too soon to say if it was worth but, I’ll keep you posted. I have to go back in a month and hopefully will have some before and after pictures then. If you are local, I went to Beauty Culture in Bloomfield Hills (you can read a review from someone else you did the same procedure as I did from them here).

That’s it from here! Hope you are all well!
