Uncommon James Nashville - Store Trip Review

During trip to Nashville I made sure to make a stop at Uncommon James!  B (my husband) had actually been there in the past, but it was my first time.  I, of course, watched Very Cavallari, so I was super excited to see everything in person.  We walked there, but the area has plenty of (free) parking and the UJ spots in front of the store were open.

Inside
The inside was slightly smaller than expected, but still plenty roomy.  It wasn’t crowded (we went around 4-5pm on a Friday) and is slightly tucked away in the Gulch.  The employees were super friendly and helpful.  The jewelry doesn’t (at least I don’t think it did) have prices or names listed on them, so if you find something you like on display, you show an employee and they can give you details or get you one from inventory (in the drawers) to buy.  I am guessing this could be annoying if the store is crowded, but it was totally fine during my visit.

They seemed to have lots of stock of jewelry, candles, home items, kid’s clothing and even had a small beauty section.  Thanks to the Uncommon James candles, the store smelled incredible.

What I Bought
I tried not to go overboard (everything is so pretty) and settled on the following:

True Comfort | Cookbook ($27.99): I have her True Roots cookbook and have been meaning to grab her latest as well.  It’s less expensive on Amazon (as I discovered later), but I’ll just focus on the experience. LOL!
Nashville Citrus Candle 10 oz. ($27): This candle smells incredible.  It has top notes of mandarin oranges and mimosas, is infused with orange, vetiver, and sandalwood essential oils and has notes of bergamot and cedar to balance out the citrus scent.  I’m obsessed.
Open Bar Earrings (Gold) ($48): I was debating between earrings and rings and ultimately settled on earrings.  I choose these because they can be worn a ton of different ways.  I love the size too – enough to be noticeable, but not bulky or uncomfortable.

Have you shopped at Uncommon James (in-person or online)?  Any favorites?  They have locations in Nashville, Chicago and Dallas and also their online store.

Spread the love
