My June 2021 “Clean Beauty Picks” Birchbox included the following items:
–Hero Cosmetics Lightning Wand (5mL) ($10): It’s way too early to tell if this works (I have only used it a few times), but it is a great option to try before you move on to more expensive laser treatments.
–Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer (4mL) ($2.84): I use primer alone rather than as prep for makeup. I love the way it blurs my skin and gives me “some” coverage, but in a light way. It smells good and isn’t sticky, so it was a winner for me.
–Minimal-ish PMS Soothing Oil (1.5mL) ($1.80): Interesting. It’s a roll-on oil for when you feel feel crampy-ish. It’s super tiny and I have no idea if it actually does anything, but the roller felt great against my skin.
–Pur-lisse Matcha Green Tea + Lemon Detoxifying Charcoal Mask (15mL) ($9.72): This mask works to clarify your pores, and smooth your skin. It is exfoliating, but not harsh. I do want to mention that the pricing is incorrect on the box sample page. It says the mask is $35 for 0.5oz (which is the size I received), but it is actually $35 for 1.8oz. I have noticed this issue with a few of their products this month and wanted to mention it.
–Dr. Botanicals Lemon Superfood all-in-one Rescue Butter (50mL – full-size) ($14.99): Hello, this stuff smells incredible. It smells like a delicious lemon cookie. The info card says you can use it on your hands, body and face, but I cannot imagine putting this on my face? I feel like I would break out because it is very rich. I will strictly use this as a hand cream, loving every second of the incredible smell.
All totaled my June 2021 Birchbox had a value of approximately $39.95. Totally worth it!
