ipsy Review - May 2021
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $12 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it.

ipsy sips via USPS and took just a few days to arrive this month.

If it fits (and it did this month), ipsy does try to pack everything into your Glam Bag.

The ipsy information card sometimes lists the products you are receiving in that month’s bag and sometimes it does not. This month it did. I don’t know why, but either way is fine really. My May 2021 ipsy Glam Bag included the following items:

THEBALM COSMETICS Anne T. Dotes Tinted Moisturizer in #26 (7mL) ($5.60):  I love a good tinted moisturizer!  This provided nice coverage without being too thick. It’s just enough to even out your skin while also hydrating. Ideal for summer.

– SKIN&CO ROMA Truffle Therapy Morning Dew (20mL) ($2.50): Morning Dew cleanses, lightly exfoliates and brightens your skin.  It smells great and I did feel like my skin glowed a bit more after this.

HEY HONEY Boost It Up! Honey Rich Moisturizer (15mL) ($15.60): Boost It Up! addresses both premature and advanced signs of aging.  I can’t say that any moisturizer I have used has actually gotten rid of any wrinkles, but this does everything else. And it did not make me break out, which is key.

GLOW ON 5TH Bye, Bye Puffy Eyes (5mL) ($4):  I have been so tired the past few weeks and my eyes have been so puffy.  It feels cool to the skin when you apply it, but I put it in the fridge for even more help.  It is so refreshing and has helped so much with puffiness!

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Mini DIPBROW® Gel in Medium Brown (1.1g) ($9):  I still just don’t love doing my brows.  I have been getting them laminated (obsessed with it by the way), but I do need something for in between sessions.  I like that this isn’t a powder and it seems to be holding my brows in place.  I will know more when my lamination wears off though.

~The Bag: Cute bag, but I am not wowed by it.  I like everything about it – the pattern, the colors, etc. but nothing pops for me.  I am impressed by Ipsy’s design team and how they always come out with something different.

All totaled my May 2021 ipsy had a value of about $37.  Nice value and a solid all-around month.
