I have no idea what happened to information card this month. I know I got one, but it appears I tossed it before snapping a photo. Oops! My May 2021 Birchbox included the following items:
–The Body Shop – Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo (30mL) ($11): The Body Shop! My local store closed years ago, but I can still remember how incredible the store smelled as you approached. This shampoo washes away loose flakes and helps soothe scalps. I wouldn’t use it daily, but every once in a while is nice.
–Anatomicals Energizing Body Cleanser Shower to the People (50mL) ($9): Not sure this left me any more energized than I normally am after a shower, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the smell. Minty smells aren’t my thing.
–Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Magnet Extreme Lengthening Mascara (.01oz) ($8.44): As you know I do not wear mascara (lash extensions) so I have no real comment on this. I passed this along to a friend to enjoy.
–Balance Me BHA Exfoliating Concentrate (30mL) ($6.25): Is it just me or has Balance Me popped up everywhere lately? I actually didn’t love this. I shouldn’t say that. I actually just didn’t think it did anything for me.
–Aurora Intensively Precise Eyeliner (0.03oz) ($11.99): Black eyeliner is always a miss in my book. I never wear eyeliner (EVER) and will never be excited to see it in a subscription box. No offense to the brand or anything, just not a product for me.
All totaled my May 2021 Birchbox had a value of approximately $47. Not my favorite box ever, but they all can’t be a perfect fit.
