Thursday Thoughts

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

-Good morning! Nothing big happening around here. Other than how tall L is getting anyway. LOL! He has already passed me in height (I’m 5’4) and is getting closer and closer to passing B. We still a month or so before school starts and are planning on squeezing in all the fun we can before we go back (after Labor Day).

-I talked about it a bit on Instagram, but B and I did the Everlywell At Home Food Sensitivity Comprehensive Test. I haven’t been feeling the best lately (headaches, tiredness, bloating, etc.) and was super curious if it was from something I was eating. We ordered our kits on 7/22 and had the results back by 8/3 (FAST)! Mine showed a fairly high sensitivity to Egg Whites, with my next highest Poppy Seeds and then Egg Yolks. I am going to cut (or at least try) eggs out of my diet for the next month or so and see what happens.  B’s highest sensitivity was wheat, but was more to the mild side of the scale.  I will report back in a month and let you know!

-Is anyone watching Dr. Death on Peacock? B and I started a few weeks ago and love it.  You can watch the first three episodes free, but if you want to watch the rest you have to subscribe.  I was planning on getting it for the Olympics anyway, so it worked out great.  Watching Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart recap the Olympics is worth the $4.99/month alone.

-Anyone else snag the Stanley Travel Tumbler when it was available last week?  They sell out super fast and this was the only time I was paying attention and was able to purchase.  It’s huge (40oz) and is supposed to keep drinks hot for 7 hours and cold for 11 hours.  I typically use a 30oz yeti and am interested in seeing how they compare.  If you use the Stanley, are you as obsessed as everyone else on Instagram??

That’s it from here!  Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!!

Spread the love
