Alltrue (formerly known as CAUSEBOX) is a quarterly socially conscious subscription box. Each full size seasonal box is a quarterly curation of 6+ products that are community focused, ethically made, environmentally conscious, and impact driven — ranging from clean beauty to ethical homewares and cruelty-free accessories. This collection is packaged in an artist-designed box and comes along with their Guide to the Season, Brand Booklet, and a seasonal, editorial print magazine, titled All Good Things, dedicated to living consciously.

Alltrue ships via FedEx Smart Post. The Summer Box shipping was extremely slow and Alltrue has promised to improve going forward.

I am an annual subscriber so I am able to select many of the items in the box.  I actually had to look up what I had selected because it felt like so long ago.  And really it was.  I think I picked in May? Alltrue has promised to improve shipping speeds and reduce delays in getting shipments out of their warehouse.

My Summer 2021 Alltrue included the following items:

–Traveling Cutlery Set by Small:Hours ($25):  I had a hard time deciding between the two choices. I wasn’t exactly sure how much I would use either of them, but ultimately decided on the silverware.  I am going to toss this in my suitcase.  I have, on a few occasions, gotten room service or carry-out while traveling that did not have silverware included.  I will never have that issue again! –Bamboozle 5-Piece Nesting Bowls ($65): I knew what my selection was going to be right away with this one.  I cannot pass up a set of nesting bowls. No way. I use them for everything – snacks, salads, baking, you name it.  These are made out of biodegradable bamboo fibers (specifically 70% bamboo, 15% cornstarch, and 15% binding resin). They are dishwasher safe, but not meant for the microwave.  Absolutely love these.

–COSMEDIX Retinol Serum ($80): I do use retinol serum, but I am not exclusive to any brand.  This hydrates and reduces fine lines and wrinkles while also working to improve the tone and texture of your skin for a brighter look.  I use mine at night and feel like it’s working, my skin looks brighter in the morning and feels smoother.(Note: Some subscribers received: COSMEDIX Mattifying Moisturizer ($48))

–Way Of Will Brightening Face Serum ($37.50): Maybe I didn’t properly think about my choices.  This is a lot of serum.  LOL! I have tried this in the past and have been happy with it, but may end up passing this one on to a friend. I like this may be better off used by someone who can get to it more quickly than I can. (Note: Some subscribers received: Brand With a Heart OMG Leave-in Conditioner Blend ($22))

–Reduce To-Go Bowl ($19.99): I thought this might work nicely for my 4th graders lunches.  He isn’t into buying hot lunch at school, but probably would like a “hot” lunch every once in a while. It keeps food hot for 7 hours and cool for 20 hours.  That’s better than most of the other containers like this we have tried.  I love the handle and love even more that this is dishwasher safe.  Basically if it can’t go in the dishwasher, I don’t want it.

–Hanalei Hawaiian SPF Lip Trio ($20): Uhh, yes please!  This was one item that all subscribers received and really, who doesn’t need lip balm?  I always do.  I’ll toss one in my purse and save the other two for winter when I need a taste of summer on my lips!  Tropical Citrus is my favorite of the trio.  Smells so good.

All totaled my Summer 2021 Alltrue had a value of $247.49.  That is an outstanding value for the price of this box and I am thrilled.
