The Sephora Favorites Mini Candle Discovery Set includes the following candles:
– 2.5 oz Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt Candle ($18.33): This is described as an Earthy & Woody scent with notes of Sandalwood, Vetiver and Amber Wood. Great scent, but not strong enough at all. I prefer a STRONG throw and this wasn’t it.
– 1.2 oz Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Lazy Sunday Morning Scented Candle ($12.83): I don’t believe they offer a candle in this size, so I estimated the price. It’s hard to say, but this may be my favorite scent of the bunch. It smells exactly how I want my Sundays to smell. Like clean sheets, fresh laundry and flowers. The floral scent isn’t overpowering at all. I think this is going to be the candle I redeem my scent certificate for. It redeems for a 5.8oz candle (a $62 value) and if we are being honest that’s not a candle I am buying for myself everyday. It will be such a treat!
– 0.95 oz NEST New York Grapefruit Candle ($7.33): Probably my least favorite scent of the bunch. Don’t get me wrong, it is a fantastic candle and smells exactly like grapefruit, but I just love the others more ;).
– 2.3 oz OTHERLAND Rattan Sandalwood Vegan Candle ($10.35): I don’t know that OTHERLAND sells a votive candle, so I had to estimate the price on this one. I don’t know what I was expecting with this scent, but it wasn’t what I got. It is described as a Sandalwood scent with hints of golden amber and warm, but I picked a warm clean, woodsy scent. It smells like a fancy hotel.
– 1 oz VOLUSPA French Cade & Lavender Candle ($6.25): This candle features notes of lush lavender, rare French cade wood, and vivid lemon verbena. It is incredible. The beveled glass makes this easily the prettiest of the candles in this assortment as well.

I am going to redeem my certificate for the 5. 8 oz Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Lazy Sunday Morning Scented Candle which has a value of $62, so my total value for this is $117. This is an outstanding deal for $50 no matter which candle you select. I think these would make outstanding holiday gifts and I highly suggest snagging them before they sell out!
