I actually received all of the choice items from the CURATEUR Team, but I am going to do the review with the items I would have selected for myself.
The Winter 2021 CURATEUR included the following items:
–U Beauty Resurfacing Compound ($228 Value): This has been dubbed a holy-grail addition to your skincare routine. It promises to visible improves skin appearance in just 3-6 days without the likelihood of irritation and replaces up to 6 items in your skincare routine. I am pretty happy with my current skincare products, but I couldn’t resist trying this out. It did make my skin feel smoother and softer right off the bat. It absorbs quickly and I had no irritation to it whatsoever. $228 is quite pricey for a skincare product, however, if I added up everything I use it would be well over that. So if this really does replace up to six products, it may be worth it.
–Kjaer Weis Im-Possible Mascara ($32 Value): As you know I don’t wear mascara (I have lash extensions) so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of this mascara. I was impressed that it did not clump at all when I pulled the wand out of the tube. The brush also looks quite user friendly.
–Thula Tula Ivory African Zebra Blanket ($129 Value): This is such a pretty blanket and easily my favorite item in the box. It measures 130 x 170 cm
and is made out of 100% super soft acrylic. I was so excited to get this that I immediately put it on my couch as a throw blanket. And them my dogs promptly jumped on it with muddy paws before I could take any more pictures. Happily it is machine washable and will be back on the couch soon. I do also want to mention that Thula Tula throws are sustainably and ethically crafted in South Africa. They are hypoallergenic (no toxic dyes or chemicals used during production) and for every blanket purchased 30 kids are provided with clean water.
–Jennifer Zeuner Allie Necklace ($132 Value): I don’t think herringbone ever goes out of style. The chain is 15″ with a 2″ extender and is made out of 14k yellow gold plated brass. Super versatile and can be worn alone or layered for a bolder look.

–JJ Winters Nikki Clutch ($79 Value): Yes! I am obsessed with this clutch. It’s more of an oversized clutch, but not too big. I love the beautiful metallic croc print. It’s roomy enough for even the largest iPhone, a thin wallet and everything you’d need to touch up your face while you are out at a holiday party. This would be so fabulous with jeans and a t-shirt to dress up your look.
Subscribers could have chosen the ThirdLove Satin Robe ($70 Value) instead of the Nikki Clutch.
All totaled the Winter 2021 CURATEUR had a value of $600. That is an incredible value for the price of the box (it’s 6x the cost) and no, I would not consider paying retail for the items. But the box has 5 items, which works out to $20/item in this $99/box and makes it seem like a steal!
