Summer 2022 Reading List

A list of books on my “To Read” list this summer:

The Summer Place by Jennifer Weiner: I enjoyed this much more than her last two books (I liked it about 1000% better than Big Summer). It was fairly unbelievable – lots of twists and turns I wasn’t expecting, but it was a fun beach (pool) read. It did take me a bit to get into, but I never thought about giving up on it.
Book Lovers by Emily Henry
Meant to Be by Emily Giffin: This book is loosely (very loosely) based on the life and events of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. So while you kind of knew what to expect, you really didn’t.  I started and finished it in one day which should tell you like loved it!
Summer Love by Nancy Thayer
Regretting You by Colleen Hoover
One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle: I didn’t love this quite as much as In Five Years, but it was an enjoyable easy read. Without giving too much away, I will say there was a few strange twists I wasn’t expecting. This book didn’t evoke any emotion in me, but I did want to finish and it held my interest.
The Summer Getaway by Susan Mallery
The Hotel Nantucket Hardcover by Elin Hilderbrand: This felt a little different than the authors other books, but I loved it just as much. It was an easy read, the characters were well developed and story felt authentic. I don’t think I have read an Elin Hilderbrand book I didn’t like!
The Homewreckers by Mary Kay Andrews

I will update this post with my reviews once I read!
