Beautylish Lucky Bag

For the first time ever, I ordered a Beautylish Lucky Bag. I’ve always been curious, but had never ended up purchasing for one reason or another. Beautylish Lucky Bags go on sale annually at the end of December and typically sell out within minutes. Four options were available:
• Original Lucky Bag: ($75 for $150+ of products).
• Lucky Bag XL**: ($150 USD for $300+ USD of products).
• Get One, Give One**: You’ll pay $150 USD and receive ONE Original Lucky Bag (with a value of $150+ USD of products), and we’ll donate the other Original Lucky Bag (with a value of $150+ USD of products) to Project Glimmer on your behalf.
• Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lucky Bag: ($75 for $150+ of JSC products).

I opted for the Original Lucky Bag in Fair / Medium.

The 2023 Beautylish Lucky Bags are now sold out.

What’s in a Lucky Bag?
Lucky Bags are filled at random, so you never really know what you will get. However, if you opt for the Original Bag, you can customize by skin tone.  Fair-Medium Lucky Bags contain products that complement fair to medium skin and Dark-Deep Lucky Bags contain products that are better suited for deeper skin tones. They don’t include foundation or concealer in Lucky Bags. XL Lucky Bags do not have a skin tone option.

Beautylish Lucky Bag

My Beautylish (Original) Lucky Bag shipped via FedEx. I ordered it on 12/26 and it arrived on 1/13. When ordered they indicated that bags would ship on or before 1/10, so everything was right on schedule.

Beautylish Lucky Bag

I was so impressed by this beautiful packaging!
Because they are all different, Beautylish Lucky Bags do not contain an information card. My bag contained the following items:

Hindash Monochromance Gradient Palette ($70): This may be the most ascetically pleasing palette I have ever received. The shadows are buildable and made to mix or wear alone as full monochromatic looks. I have read that the colors “hard pan” if you use fingers. So always use a brush with this one.

Wayne Goss Lip Liner (Sepia) ($14): Sepia is a deep brown mauve with a matte finish. I have been watching so many get ready with my videos on TikTok that I was about to buy a lip liner on my own. Happy to have received this.

Wayne Goss Lipstick (Iris) ($28): To go along with my lip liner I received a lipstick in Iris, which is a cool medium rose with a satin finish. I am not 100% sold on the color though.

MOB Beauty Blush Compact ($5) and MOB Blush (M31) ($23): The compact and blush were packaged separately. I love the reusable packaging and the chance to swap out shades when traveling. M31 is a dusty mauve and SO stunning. All MOB products are bio-degradable, ethically sourced, cruelty-free and vegan.

Good Molecules Ultra-Hydrating Facial Oil ($10): I think every Beautylish bag included a product from this brand. I found this oil to be hydrating and it felt warm when I applied it. I would use this more as a night oil than during the day.

Natasha Denona Bronze Cheek Face Glow Palette ($59): I was really hoping to receive a Natasha Denona palette and I did! This contains shades of alluring bronze, creamy tan, and incandescent champagne. It literally makes you glow. Absolutely stunning and can even use as shadows.

Sonia G Mini Cheek Brush ($36): A small brush for precise, controlled application of a wash of cheek color. Sonia G brushes are bound by master artisans in Japan using traditional brushmaking techniques and handles are made from sustainably harvested maple wood and coated with four layers of pigment and lacquer for a rich, dimensional finish. Easily the nicely brush I own.
All totaled my Beautylish Original Lucky Bag had a value of $245. That is an outstanding value and, by all accounts, I got a great lucky bag! If you are curious, you can view what others received here.

Did you get a Beautylish Lucky Bag? If so, what did you receive? If not, are you thinking about snagging one next year?
