Each monthly box contains a combination of 2 toys, 2 treats, and 1 chew (or other item) that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. We receive the Large dog box for Luna (our 70lb Newfypoo puppy). Our little dogs don’t care too much about toys, so the larger toys are a perfect fit for us.
My February 2024 (Large Dog) “SNIFF THE ROSES” BarkBox included the following items:
–BARK Mi Amour Macarons: We love these container type toys. The soft Sniff The Roses Flower Shop “box” is sealed by Velcro and has two macarons inside. I stuff a treat or two inside and Luna LOVES to try and open it up and dig out the treats. The box has crinkle and the macarons have squeakers inside which makes it even more fun.
–Plucky Tulip Tug: Now this is a Luna sized toy. The tulip is huge (way bigger than it looks here) and has a squeaker inside. The looped tug strap is such a smart idea. With a bigger grip I might I now may even be able to win ;).
–BARK Clucky Soft Bakes Chicken Recipe: The dogs (all of them) are obsessed with these. They will eat any treat you give them, but absolutely prefer soft or jerky treats. These soft-baked treats have USA chicken as the #1 ingredient and are flavored with sweet potato.
–BARK Cheesy Peasy Soft Bakes: We have yet to crack into these, but they are soft-baked and made with USA cheese. I know they will be a huge hit. Bella, Buster and Luna have never met a BarkBox treat they didn’t like.
–BARK Bright Dental Chews: Okay I will admit it, I don’t brush my dogs teeth. I know you are supposed to, but I just don’t. I need to get two more of these so I can give one to each of the dogs. They will still fight about them even if they each have one, but at least it will seem more fair (to me).
