What I Bought This Week – Target Holiday Edition

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

It’s time for another edition of What I Bought This Week! Here’s what I picked up this week (month) at Target for the holidays…

Women’s Sage Slide Slippers – A New Day ($15): These slippers are so soft and comfortable! They come in a ton of colors too.  I was debating between tan and red and ended up with the red. Although I suspect I will eventually cave and get the tan as well. One note, if you are in between sizes, size down on these as they do run a little big.

Saltair Santal Bloom Bath and Body Gift Set ($20): Is this a deal? No, it’s actually not. You can buy the travel-sized body wash for $5 and when you buy 3, you get 1 free. But you can’t but the shampoo, conditioner or pink beach serum body wash in travel sizes at Target. So it’s worth it for me. These are the perfect size for traveling and I am hoping I can refill these bottles when they run out.

eos Shea Better Holiday Body Lotion – Sparkling Amber, Whipped Shea & Sugar & Peppermint Cashmere ($8.99/each): I expected to like Whipped Shea & Sugar best (I thought it would be cookie like), but my favorite is actually Sparkling Amber.  It has notes of sugared pink grapefruit, rich red berries and blooming star jasmine along with cotton candy and warm woody musk.  It smells similar to Baccarat Rouge 540, but not quite as good.

REESE’S Christmas Peanut Butter Cup Sugar Cookie Miniatures ($4.69): I was expecting to love these and was so excited when I heard about this launch.  But they were a miss for me. I tasted a lot of white chocolate (I don’t even know if there is any white chocolate in these) and not a lot of peanut butter.  I did like the crunch the cookie pieces added though!

Small Double Christmas Decorative Bow – Wondershop ($5): I love these bows!  I picked up the smaller size, but they have a larger $10 one in a few colors as well.  They would make great tree toppers, door hangers as so much more!

Native Limited Edition Body Wash – Holiday Gumdrop ($9.99): I might like this one more than the Native Sugar Cookie scent!  It is very fruity with notes of mandarin, peach and lemon.  So so good!

12 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar ($20): I can never resist the Target advent calendars!  These haven’t sold out yet, but it’s really only a matter of time.

12 Days of Skincare Advent Calendar ($20): And, of course, I had to get the skincare one.  I bought these when they had a spend $40, get a $10 gift card promotion, so they were really only $15/each.  And the best part is that I don’t remember what is in them, so it will be a surprise in December.

M&M’S Christmas Toasty Peanut Chocolate Candy Bag ($4.69): Sadly these were also a miss. I don’t know what I was expecting, but they tasted exactly as advertised – toasty (burnt) peanut m&m’s.

Get Ready With Me Beauty Discovery Set ($20): I really had to restrain myself with the sets this year!  I think last year they had a 25% off beauty sets promotion (or something along those lines), so if they do that again I may end up with more…

Ready to Jet Beauty Travel Essentials Kit ($20): Another great set! This one is super practical and I will use everything in it!

Are you loving the Target holiday items as much as I am? What have you picked up so far this season?
