The May 2025 ipsy Glam Bag design has been officially revealed!

“When I was designing this bag, I wanted to create something that felt like a beautiful heirloom—a piece you’d hold onto for years,” says Wong. “I was really inspired by those delicate, hand-embroidered linens you might find in your grandmother’s collection or at a vintage market in Paris.”
Wong wanted to celebrate heritage crafts in a way that felt modern, so she took cues from vintage embroidery techniques, delicate floral prints, and—fun fact!—antique linens. Originally, she planned to use embroidery for the design, but after some trial and error (RIP, embroidery dreams), printing turned out to be the best way to keep all those gorgeous details intact for every Ipster.
“We actually tested embroidery first, but it just wasn’t capturing the fine detail we wanted,” Wong explains. “The print method we landed on let us showcase all the intricate floral elements while keeping the bag lightweight and super functional.”
