Lip Factory, Inc. is an affordable monthly beauty subscription.  Lip Factory Beauty kits may include a full face of makeup products however, their focus is primarily on lips.  Kits will include lip products such as lip glosses, lip sticks, lip liners and lip therapy products.

I have never received a Lip Factory, Inc. box before so I wasn’t sure what to expect.  I hadn’t checked out any spoilers and even looked in detail at any previous boxes. I think this is the fun way to do it.  If only I could resist spoilers for every box!

Turns out there was a box in the box.  It was nicely packed and looked like a gift!  Who doesn’t like getting a gift in the mail?

My first thoughts were that the box looked great.  I saw lots of fancy brands and I think we all love seeing that. Lip Factory, Inc. paired with Maryam Maquillage (a fabulous beauty blogger – I GTS) to provide an inspirational look for February’s box.

The box comes with an information card and also directs to to their website where you can find full instructions for completing the look.  I didn’t exactly get everything that was on the card, but we’ll get to that.

~29 Cosmetics Reserve Moisturizing Lip Stick (in Stompin Grapes – Classic Red Wine) (x2) ($50): According to the card, the box suppose to include a “Hint of Honey Lip Treatment” and a “Reserve Moisturizing Lip Treatment”, but I got two lipsticks. I gotta tell you, I was wondering why they looked so similar?  I am cracking up writing this because I kept looking at the shades and was all “these look just the same”.  It didn’t occur to me to check the color names until a few days later.  Duh.  They are the same.  I am guessing someone just grabbed the wrong box when packaging this.  Not a big deal at all and I am 100% certain they would correct this for me if I contacted them.  But instead  I am going to gift the extra to a friend.  See.  Everyone’s a winner ;).  Oh and if you don’t know, 29 Cosmetics is a high-end brand sold at Neiman Marcus and the like.

~Nabi Cosmetics Lip Liner ($0.99): I have not used lip liner in, I can’t even tell you how long.  And I don’t think I have gotten a lip liner in a monthly subscription box ever before either.  I am going to check out Lip Factory’s instructions on this because the last thing I would want is to look like a fool with drawn on lips!  I am certain they will steer me in the right direction.

~LASplash Cosmetics Mineral Eye Shadow (in Oyster Shell, Black Sea & Hula Hula) ($20.97): I was super excited when I saw these.  They look so fun and that pink (Hula Hula) LOVE!!  These are a great size and I look forward to trying them!   I could honestly see why one would want these in every color.

~Stila Plumping Lip Glaze (in Vanilla Mint) ($24): This was not on the card and I don’t exactly know why I got it.  Not that I care because I LOVE it. I used to buy these all the time but haven’t in ages. I have already put this in my bag and am using it ;). It makes me feel young again.

~29 Cosmetics Leather Mirrored Lipstick Case: I don’t use lipstick cases, but this is pretty cute.  I mean, I prefer to dig around in my bag and complain I can’t find things instead.  I see it as kinda of a sport.  I get so excited when I actually find what I want right away.

~29 Cosmetics Sample Skin Care: Before subscription boxes,  I had never heard of this brand.  Now I want to try everything from it.  This little blister pack of samples has me so excited!  I say it all the time and am getting better, but I need to pay more attention to my skin.  Specifically my eyes.  As a side note, does anyone have an eye cream they swear by?

~Mini Kabuki Brush: This little brush was an extra in the box and I am sure I can find a use for it!

Not including the last three things in the box because I wasn’t sure how to value them, the box had a total value of $95.96.  Umm, that’s insane since the boxes only cost $22/month.  I feel like a little like I robbed them because I got so so much for so little!  Love it!
