Bounty New York is a way to offer visitors a unique way to shop and learn about the amazing food coming out of New York by sharing the stories of the farmers and small-batch producers they fortunate enough to work with. Bounty New York is convinced that a deeper understanding of where our food comes from, and the work that goes into making it, translates into a more enjoyable and delicious experience. Bounty New York is in the process of launching a Seasonal Subscription box and currently offer three types of BountyBoxes – Tea Box, Gardner’s Box and Bounty New York Box. I opted for the Bounty New York Box since it seemed like the best fit for me.

Bounty New York ships via USPS and says to expect delivery within 7-9 days. I think mine came in 4? If that!

Inside the big box was the actual Bounty Box. It was surrounded by paper in the bigger box so it didn’t shift around or anything when it shipped.

I knew what to expect from the Hudson Valley Bounty Box, but I was still excited to open it up and check everything out.

The Hudson Valley Bounty Box includes a very detailed information card which includes product information and information on each of the “friends and neighbors” behind the box.

~Oliverea Schoolhouse Maple Syrup:  Mmmm, maple syrup!!!  You have no idea how badly I want to make some waffle sticks and dip them in this maple syrup.    Sadly it will have to wait a few weeks but B and I are most excited about trying this!

~Bread Alone Bakery Apricot Pistachio Granola: B and I couldn’t resist trying this and it’s   yummy!  Better than I expected to tell you the truth.  I wasn’t sure about the apricot pistachio combination, but it’s very very good.  We want to try their Chocolate Berry one now too!

~Bella’s Home-Baked Goods Almond Biscotti: I have received biscotti in a few boxes now and I have to say, this has withstood the shipping process the best.  And fine, I tried a bite (instead of the entire piece like I normally would have had) and it was one of the best I’ve ever had!

~Wright’s Farms Dilly Beans: I haven’t opened these yet because I don’t know how quickly I need to eat them once opened (does anyone know).   I plan to try them in a salad this week for a fun twist!

~Beth’s Farm Kitchen Raspberry Jam: I like jam well enough, but it’s not really something I would ever just buy at the store.  I usually just wait for it to pop up in subscription boxes ;).  The “jammers” over at Beth’s Farm Kitchen have been making jam for over 30 years and source their berries from local patches.  L and I will be having this for breakfast one day soon ;).

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box since the items in it aren’t a surprise.  I’d doubt you’d be able to buy each of these items individually for less than the $39.95 cost of box!
