Little Lace Box is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every other month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand-name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out.  They now also offer Serendipity by Little Lace Box. It’s $12.99/bi-monthly and is a separate subscription from LLB. Serendipity will be sent out every other month (on the off months of the Little Lace Box) and (usually) includes five to seven sample size (sometimes full-size) items that don’t have any theme attached at all, just great little finds that LLB wanted to share. This review is on the January 2017 Serendipity by Little Lace Box shipment.

Serendipity by Little Lace Box ships via USPS First Class Mail. Due to vendor issues, there was no November Serendipity, so I was extra anxious to get this one.

I couldn’t believe all the things that came out of that tiny box!

The January 2017 Serendipity by Little Lace Box included the following items:

~Xtenex Accufit Laces (Colors will vary) ($9.95): These laces are unlike any I have tried before.  They are what I would describe as, “springy”.  You can adjust them as needed and they adjust with your foot’s natural tendency to swell during the day.  I love the color I received and I love the look, but man they were a pain to put in!  I think I snapped them against my fingers about a dozen times.  LOL!

~Modgy Expandable Vase (Patterns may vary) ($8.95): Where has this been all my life?  It’s something I have always wanted, but never knew existed.  We all have that awkward cabinet of vases, but these are going to change that!  They are expandable and reusable and store FLAT!  Plus they come in a bunch of fun pattern.  Genius.  Absolute genius.  The size we received fit a dozen tulips and probably could have fit a few more.  I am thrilled with this!

~Beekman 1802 Jasmine & Heirloom Rose Hand Wash ($20): This hand wash is made from botanical-based ingredients from farms, not labs.  It’s sulfate and paraben-free and smells amazing.  Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

~Doxen & Hue Face Wash (Watermint or Pink Grapefruit) ($6): I received this in “Watermint”, which is formulated with “gentle exfoliating beads formulated to improve skin’s texture”.  Sadly the Watermint contains microbeads, which don’t always get filtered through at water treatment facilities and can end up in rivers, lakes and steams.  And can end up getting eaten by wildlife.  Not good.  From what I have read, microbeads will be phased out of consumer products (and many companies have already done this on their own already) per federal law beginning in July 2017.  All that said, if you received the Watermint and aren’t happy, reach out to LLB at info@littlelacebox.com so that they can address the issue with you.

All totaled the Serendipity by Little Lace Box has a value of $44.90. Even with the face wash issue, I am happy with this box and pleased with the value. I am LOVING that vase, the laces and the hand wash!
