Everything was wrapped in tissue paper which made it extra fun to unbox. Even though I knew what was in the box, I didn’t always know exactly what I was unwrapping.
The Summer 2017 Rachel Zoe Box of Style included the following items:
~Helena Quinn Custom Kimono ($120): I wasn’t completely sold on this kimono when I saw the spoiler, but it’s growing on me! First of all, the pattern is gorgeous! It can be worn as a beach coverup, to dress up a nighttime look or anything in between. It comes with a belt, but I am not a belt person so I think I may use that as a decoration for a straw bag (to tie it on the straps) or as a hair accessory. The kimono is one-size fits all, and I think it would be fine in the arms for most people, but I can see it being too tight on some people across the shoulders/back. The best part about the kimono and I think what “sold” me on it, is that it has pockets!
~Raen Durante Sunglasses ($150): Subscribers were able to choose between Black or Tortoise sunglasses. I opted for the Black. I have been leaning more towards mirrored aviators lately, so those are a nice change of pace! They have a flat front and provide 100% UVA/UVB protection.
~The Brave Collection Compass Necklace ($115): The Brace Collection Compass Necklace is handmade by fair-trade artisans in Cambodia, and 10% of profits are donated toward the fight against human trafficking. It’s delicate and perfect to wear when traveling or when you wish you were traveling.
~Sole Society Straw Panama Hat ($26.95): This hat is amazing! I am obsessed with the pom pom detail! It’s perfect. The card suggests wearing a scarf under it for a more snug fit (if it’s loose on you) and packing it upside down and stuffing clothing in the crown to save space (and help hold its shape) while traveling. Smart!
~Beauty Counter Cream Blusher in Hibiscus ($37) & Beautycounter Protect Stick Sunscreen ($18): Beautycounter products are made with “clean, good-for-you ingredients” which are totally paraben and silicone-free. The Hibiscus Cream Blush gives you a natural, dewy color on cheeks and doubles as a lip color! The stick sunscreen goes on clear and is water resistant. I love the smell, and I love even more that it’s so easy to apply. No more trying to rub in thick white sunscreen!
~On Me:
All totaled the Summer 2017 Rachel Zoe Box of Style had a value of $467. This was one box that I liked way more in person than I did looking at the spoilers. It felt like a complete vacation in a box, and the value was incredible.

Love all of your past reviews of Box of Style! I am a new subscriber and received my first box today. I’m 5’2 and the kimono looks about the same on me (long) and I’m getting used to “flat” sunglasses. I was researching what came in past boxes to see if the Fall and Winter boxes are worth it and found your blog incredibly helpful. I recently got into subscription boxes… Art of Organics, Organic Bunny Box etc. Now I’ll probably spend all evening reading your past reviews. 🙂
