The August 2017 BOXYCHARM theme is “Beach Please” and included the following items:
~Adesse Nail Polish in Suzannemi ($18): Suxannemi is a spunky tomato red. It’s a gorgeous color, and the formula is top notch. It is infused with organic bamboo extract, as well as, argan and shea oils to soothe and rejuvenate your nails. It’s easy to apply, and due to the “self-leveling brush” I never ended up with too much polish.
~Aloette Face Paint Lip and Cheek Tint (Blooming Berry) ($35): Not all subscribers will receive this, but if you do, you will get one of three shades. I received Blooming Berry which is a rich, well, berry shade. It’s a lot creamier and much more pigmented than I expected. Build your color slowly with this one!
~PUR Cosmetics Lashes ($14): I am not huge on false lashes, but that’s mainly because I don’t know how to properly apply them. I love the look though! If cared for properly, these will last for up to 30 wears.
~Moda Brushes by Royal & Langnickel ($26): The MODA Pro 3-Piece Brush Set includes a pointed brush, a chisel blender, and a crease brush. This is a fantastic brush set – probably one of my favorites ever received in a subscription box. The handles are grippy, and the package even tells you what each brush is used for!
–tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Volume II ($36): I saved the best for last! Check out this amazing tarte palette! It includes the following eight limited edition shadows:
- pearl (white shimmer)
- conch (off white)
- sunset (yellow gold)
- marina (caramel)
- seaside (chestnut)
- siren (dark brown)
- breezy (shimmering slate)
- riptide (steel blue)
All are very wearable, and the formula is crease-proof (no primer necessary). And I have to mention the gorgeous packaging! Seriously, so pretty.
All totaled the August 2017 BOXYCHARM had a value of $115. Outstanding value and this was just an all-around fantastic box. I LOVE my variations and couldn’t be happier!
