Try It Tuesday (Round 2)

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

Now that I have tried all the items from last month, I am starting with a fresh new batch of products and services to test out. Here goes:

Yes to Cucumbers Eye Love Cucumber Soothing Eye Gel: I stare at a computer screen pretty much all day, which makes my eyes exhausted. And sometimes I don’t get enough sleep (although, I do try) and my eyes end up puffy and tired. So when I was roaming thru Target (where else) one day and spotted this, I knew I had to try it. At $14.99, it’s on the pricey end (well to me it is) for a product I know nothing about and have never even heard of. If it even does 1/4 of what it says it will, I will be pleased.

GoGo Squeez Applesauce: While browsing through the aisles at WalMart (I know, I was cheating on Target), the other day, I ran into these. I thought they looked cute / interesting / new so I threw them in my cart to try them out. L loves applesauce but always seems to make a giant mess with it, and it’s never been a snack we could eat on the go before. But these seem promising, provided he doesn’t TRY to make a mess.

Mio: I saw this stuff on tv awhile back and actually thought it was laundry detergent. Random I know. But it turns out it is liquid water enhancer. It comes in assorted flavors and the contains holds 24 servings and do not need to be refridgeratored, so they can pretty much go anywhere with you. My husband is also excited to try this stuff out, so you’ll get a his and hers review for this!

Lululemon Relaxed Fit Crop IIGo: I cannot wait to try this out. My addiction to Lululemon has grown greatly in the last month thanks to the store that I never knew about (hello, where have I been) which is like right around the block from me. I love their groove pants, but wanted something a little looser in the crop style for running errands it or bike riding with my boys. Has anyone ever ruined pants by bike riding like I have? They always get caught in the chains. Something tells me this only happens to me. I should also mention that my bike has no kickstand. For real. Weird. I just dump it on the ground whenever I need to park it somewhere like an 8 year-old boy. But back to the pants, I cannot wait to test these out!

Door to Door Organics: Out of all the things this month, I am most excited to try this out. I have always wanted to test out a local organic produce delivery service but have been to lazy to actually look for one. Also I just assumed that my part of the country wasn’t hip enough to have anything like this. Wrong. Last week’s Groupon was for an Itty Bitty produce box delivered to your door for 60% (I think) off. I was so excited. I couldn’t order fast enough! I cannot wait to see what we get in the box and I am signing up for weekly deliveries to see how we like it.

I’ll report back in a few weeks or so and let you know my thoughts. In the meantime, if anyone has tried any of these products let me know what you thought. Also, what are you trying this month?? Can’t wait to hear.

Spread the love

What’s this store right around the corner from you where you get your lululemon stuff? More importantly, how have I not caught on to there being a new store to enjoy sooner?! Lol

Can’t wait to hear about the mio!

    1. Jennifer

      It’s the Lululemon store Jessica!!!!

Ps…you are not the only I’ve to ruin pants while bike rising. I was recently informed that is the reason some people roll that pant leg up or tuck it into their sock, the latter of which looks absolutely ridiculous! Lol

    1. Jennifer

That does look ridiculous. I would rather ride my bike with no pants on!!!

  3. Joanne

Abby loves the applesauce. Costco carries that brand! Trader joes also carries their own brand!

    1. Jennifer

Costco does?? Good to know. Remember when we used to go on those trips to Sams / Costco in your Cadillac in college?? So fun!

Mason LOVES the applesauce…they are so easy to bring while out. I just can’t let him hold on to them himself yet….learned from experience and lots of applesauce in his hair and eyes.

I didn’t like those crops on me…but I think I look weird in some crops. Makes my calves look huge. But I’m thrilled with your obsessed with lululemon so now we can talk shop. Check out these blogs.

Your wallet and husand now hate me.

My wallet hates you, but my husband is also obsessed. He loves their smash pants and v-neck tees. And shorts. Oh, and he has a hoodie too. We are a perfect match.

That applesauce was all the rage in the elementary lunchroom for awhile…. My kids wanted it for awhile and then I think they realized they’re not 3 years old!!?? Where do you find Mio? We are big on Crystal Light but Mio sounds better. Is it near the other powder drink mixes?
