My weekend activities and thoughts in a nut-shell:
- My Cardio Fusion class is taught by a woman who could rival Jillian Michaels. She yelled through the entire class and has more energy in her pinky than I have in my entire body. A few people even left the class. I am scared of her and think she’s awesome at the same time. The class was very tough, but didn’t leave me that sore. Yoga was not tough and left me very sore. Go figure.
- I bought some Calypso St. Barth for Target Wedges Sunday and wore them around the house for a few hours to test them out. Very comfortable and for $29.99, who can resist?
- I had no idea that step aerobics was still so popular. I find this to be crazy! Clearly I never go to the gym. And when I said I took step aerobics in college, I mean I actually took it as a for credit class through the university.
- I watched Justin Verlander pitch a no hitter and wished he could have pulled off the perfect game. Is he married? I wonder if she wears the VS Tigers MLB stuff? I know I love it!
- We started our annual vegetable garden yesterday. L is totally into it and can’t wait to pick stuff.
- I wanted the Globetrotters to win The Amazing Race.
- L requested we go to “dat fruit store” while we were at the mall. Say what?? I told him we were headed to the Banana (Republic) store (which we were), since I had zero clue what he was talking about. Once he realized it wasn’t what he wanted, he spit out, “no, that puter store”. Yep. My 3 year-old specifically requested we take him to the Apple store.
- I always forget Real Housewives of the O.C. is on Sunday nights and always forget to watch. Thank goodness my DVR never misses a beat.
Tell me about your weekend! What did you do? Anything special? Let’s hear about it!
I’ve been eyeing those Calypso wedges, you just gave me the push to buy them!
Oh poop…you just reminded me that RHOOC was on Sunday night!! Got distracted by the hockey game and Celebrity Apprentice. Our DVR is soooo full of kids shows I can’t do the programming very easily… Love the wedges…might have to get some! 🙂

Yay for new wedges! Perfect for summer!
Uh oh…you’ve got an Apple kid already! 🙂
I know! He is addicted!!
I don’t know if I could stand a class where the teacher yelled nonstop. That is why I prefer yoga or pilates, much calmer. I had the best pilates/yoga fusion class, then the teacher left after two sessions and they replaced her with some crazy lady who was half deaf and yelled a lot. Then I left.
